  • In Chapter Two, Nao deserves credit for seeing through the fake AI Mishima's lies, and secretly cooperating with Sou to trick the AI into getting itself deleted.
  • The Main Game reveals that Nao was never supposed to make it past the first trial, and Gashu is so offended at how far she's gotten that he rigged the game to give her the Sacrifice. Despite this information becoming known to the others normally being a death sentence, Nao can pull off a gambit allowing her to make it out. It comes at the cost of everyone else's lives, but it's still impressive that she can pull that off.
  • In the Sou route fo Chapter 3-1B, Kurumada, after being blown apart by Maple, chooses to remain half charged. Being attacked by a panicked Keiji, he's the one who immediately blows Ranmaru's schemes apart right about as they begin. After he successfully tricks Sara and knocks out both her and Keiji, the white haired doll plays innocent as if he had done nothing wrong, only for the boxer to come in and subdue him, expose his lies and his motives, and put a halt to his plan of killing the rest of the party one by one. Not bad for someone who was Too Dumb to Live earlier in the chapter. If he's capable of doing this under such circumstances, it really is no wonder he's deceptively capable of being the winner of the game, second only to Sara.
  • Both Q-taro and his Doll excel in the entirety of Chapter 3-1B. After he and Mai manage to hold Maple off, they start forming a plan with Keiji. Unfortunately, Q-taro realizes that he doesn't have much time left, so he has Mai work with Safalin to make a Doll of him in order to trick everyone, while he himself remains in the coffin. During the final stages of the banquet, his body (or at least what's left of it) tricks Midori into drilling into the coffin, thinking that it's Gin. This gives Sara the chance to work out which coffin Midori's really in. Finally, his Doll version explains everything and comforts Gin as he shuts down. What a way to go.
