Headscratchers / Your Turn to Die

  • So, in chapter 2-1, the group speculates that Sou intentionally caused Joe to pick up the Sacrifice Card. When they go to his room to confront him about this, Sou pretends to have lost his memories of the Main Game. Later, he reveals to Sara that he was just faking it. So, knowing this, why did Sara never think to confirm whether or not he did intend to get her best friend killed, because you would think that with her hallucinations of Joe tormenting her 24/7, she'd remember that and feel a little more resentful of him.
    • At that point, Sou had lied about so many things that asking him a question like that point blank probably would have just resulted in more lying. Additionally, she feels responsible for Joe's death despite the fact that Sue Miley and the Asu Naro organization as a whole are clearly the only ones actually responsible. Getting Sou to confirm he screwed Joe over would not have made her feel better.
  • In chapter 2-2, when the gang is looking at the messages Kai left on his laptop, they get to a point where Kai mentions how there were less files on the participants than the total number of them, at which point them reading the message gets cut off by Sou trading Sara the Sacrifice Card and Sara going into a panic. Most likely the message was just about to get into the topic of the non-candidates. But not only does talking to Reko later have her say they read the rest of the message yet found nothing important, but nobody in the Main Game seemed to make the connection as to why there were certain names that weren't on the list of victory percentages. Did they not actually read the rest of the message or was Kai's supposition that got cut off completely off the mark?
