Keep in mind this is the dragon equivalent of a child.

Manga

  • When Tohru's father threatens to leave Kobayashi on the brink of death if she interferes with him taking his daughter back and blasts her glasses off with a warning shot, Tohru shoots her father a Death Glare so intense it scares him into leaving.
  • Kobayashi pulling a Go Through Me on Clemene to protect Ilulu, who had been causing her nothing but trouble until that moment.
  • In response to Clemene hitting Kobayashi, Tohru does a Neck Lift on him with a full on dragon arm and then proceeds to beat him to within an inch of his life, with one hell of an epic line to boot.
Tohru: Choose the right words to plead for your life, and I'll let you have your soul back after breaking your body.
    • She then wipes him of all his memories of Earth before sending him back to his own world. Though not before breaking off one of his horns.
  • Tohru effortlessly defeating the Dragon-Busters during her "neighborhood patrol". Namely sending one thug twice her height flying with a single punch, before wiping out the rest with one kick.
  • The various ways Kanna saves Chloe from kidnappers while in New York City:
    • When she first meets Chloe as she's being chased, Kanna manages to take out the kidnappers with a Finger Poke of Doom.
    • Later, as the kidnappers return and grab Chloe, Kanna goes full dragon, arrive in the warehouse where Chloe is being held, and scares her kidnappers away.
  • Shouta taking down William in a Wizard Duel during the mage exam with only two spells, neither of which were offensive.
    • Kobayashi also gets props for getting first place on the written part of the exam when Shouta's father signed her up for it (she got first place on the practical part too, but Tohru did all the work there). Bear in mind that she has no formal training in magical studies, and the test was written in a language she isn't even fluent in.
  • Kobayashi, in Tranquil Fury mode, calls out Kanna's father, Kimun Kaumi, for his piss poor parenting and refusing to hand her over to him and Azad, going so far as to calling the former a "piece of shit" when she loses all patience with him. When Kimun tries to intimidate her, Kobayashi stands her ground with a Death Glare.
    • Tohru threatening to beat Kimun to death if he raises his hand to Kobayashi.
  • Kanna's Batman Gambit to expose Azad of orchestrating a war between rival dragon factions in hopes that they'd wipe each other out. There's a good reason Kanna was considered The Prankster before she met Kobayashi.
    • Afterwards, Kanna's father, Kimun, has a Papa Wolf moment where he saves her just as Azad is about to strike her down.
  • The other Earthbound dragons appear to defend Kobayashi and Tohru, with Fafnir and Elma holding off the mind controlled hoard and Lucoa (who its been pointed out is probably the most powerful dragon and the one least likely to get involved in draconic conflicts) not only breaking the tie between Tohru and Kimun but buying Kobayashi charge up time.
  • Chapter 106 has Jida and Clemene discuss killing the human race... right next to a radio microphone.
    Kobayashi: Let's fucking slaughter them.
  • The plan to have Tohru singlehandedly rescue Elma despite being charging in straight into a chapel full of Harmony Dragons. By making a flashy entrance and declaring that this is a show from the Chaos Dragons she cements her and the Chaos Dragons as The Dreaded that can't be taken on, even with the help of the Dragon Slayers. This combined with Clemene remembering Tohru and freaking out completely destroys the credibility of the Dragon Slayers and the marriage to all but Jida. This leads to a combination of awesome and a Funny Moment as not only does Tohru No-Sell a punch straight to the face from Jii but knocks him out in a single punch after all his boasting due to her having battled in her human form far longer than he has.
  • Kobayashi has an awesome moment during the battle with Telne where she becomes a bit of a Guile Hero by making a bargain with Telne that if she can beat her with a Death or Glory Attack, she will let them go. Telne accepts only to realize that Kobayashi didn't mean she would be attacking, but helping Tohru by giving her the Holy Sword to use. Telne freaks out after seeing the Holy Sword not hurting Tohru and realizing that she is not resistant to it herself, so she fully transforms and prepares her Breath Weapon. Tohru charges against this and is able to knock Telne out of her dragon form, where she surrenders.
  • Chapter 120 has Tohru managing to deflect Fafnir's full power curse flame at the last second, saving Ilulu from getting incinerated. Fafnir actually ends up complimenting her afterwards, noting how much stronger she's gotten.

Anime

  • Tohru scaring off two criminals who were about to rob Kobayashi's home...in her dragon form.
  • In a span of a few seconds, Tohru stops a thief with a combination of her super-speed and strength. Needless to say, she was given a round of cheers because of her feat.
    • And an often overlooked moment, but Kobayashi, who thought the crowd at the supermarket were going to hurt Tohru after the superhuman display, immediately runs to her maid and takes her to safety.
  • After witnessing Kobayashi's chief chew her out and forcing her to do his work (which weren't even the top priority), Tohru responds by repeatedly tripping him. Later, Kobayashi herself got him fired by secretly recording his abuse of power and showing the footage to the company's president.
  • Tohru and Kanna "playing" in an open field, which, to normal humans, comes off as a typical shounen fight, with Kanna firing off a beam of electricity and Tohru blocking it and countering it with a Breath Weapon attack. The fact that they're sticking to "human standards" based on the abilities humans have in the "dragon world" is a hint that these two (especially Tohru) aren't someone that you mess around with.
  • The flashback that reveals how Tohru and Kobayashi first met has the former in her dragon form and the latter extremely drunk, but still able to pull out the sword that would've mortally wounded Tohru. Note, the sword is as big as Tohru's dragon form and was crafted by Gods. And yet the small, drunken Kobayashi was able to pull it out.
  • Kobayashi dumbfounds Tohru and Kanna with spoon bending, as it’s a form of magic they’ve never seen before. Kanna even goes so far as to call her “God”!
  • Tohru curbstomping Ilulu during their fight the moment she realizes that she doesn't have to hold back anymore to prevent the town from suffering damage. Even as Ilulu readies and attack, Tohru just nonchalantly shoots a mouth blast that send her opponent packing. What makes it even more impressive is that Ilulu notes several months later in the manga that she still hasn't fully healed from that one attack despite dragons having a Healing Factor.
  • Like the "playing" fight between Tohru and Kanna above, the "practice" fight between Tohru and Elma gets an awesome Adaptation Expansion, with Elma immediately starting the fight by creating a giant fissure to drop Tohru in, while in response Tohru draws up energy from the Earth's core to fire heat beams at Elma and hits her across the ocean, and when Elma comes back the previously mentioned energy bursts through the ground as lava which Elma instantly cools down with her water magic and pins Tohru down with just her hand. This is followed by Tohru launching Elma into the air and having a High-Altitude Battle. Even after they get on more friendly terms they still go at it, ending the fight with a Cross Counter.
