Season 1
Episode 1: Sundown
- It's only an Imagine Spot, but Jackie Robinson fearlessly slicing a Cthulhu-esque Eldritch Abomination in half with only his baseball bat still counts.
- Christina Braithwhite makes her entrance to the show in style, pulling a Villainous Rescue by intercepting a truck-full of racists intent on lynching Leti and the Freemans with her Silver Bentley S1 and using her magic to send the truck flying through the air and crashing spectacularly.
- While the corrupt sheriff and deputy are blubbering, screaming and getting killed by the Shoggoths, the protagonists use their knowledge of pulp fiction and additional skills to hold off and evade the monsters, plan an escape and eventually survive the night.
Episode 2: Whitey's on the Moon
- Soft-spoken, unassuming uncle George stepping on Samuel Braithwaite's moment to explain his knowledge of the lodge's bylaws and how, racist as they are, Tic is one of their members as he is a direct descendant of Titus Braithwaite, something he'd pieced together earlier, and he has the privilege of being able to give orders to any other members of the lodge... And Tic does, spectacularly telling a bunch of old white racists to "get up and get the fuck out", and they do.
- Montrose Freeman's first appearance has him escaping the dungeon where he'd been locked up, literally digging his way out of the earth.
Episode 3: Holy Ghost
- After her racist neighbors harass her all week and culminate by leaving a burning cross in the front yard, Leti goes to town on their cars with a baseball bat.
- The ghosts of Epstein's victims rallying against him after he kills Betsey and possesses Tic, helping Leti exorcise him and killing the three neighbors that invaded the house. It's implied that they stick around after that and will continue to protect the house. Punctuated by her last words to him, echoing his constant refrain.
- Made even more awesome by the powerful rendition of "Satan, We're Gonna Tear Your Kingdom Down".
Episode 8: Jig-a-Bobo
- Dee, cornered by the nightmarish minstrel show girls that have been hunting her the entire episode, screaming in rage and defiance and charging them with her bicycle.
- This episode also had Dee's Crowning Moment of Awesome. Having had enough, facing down a white police captain who is also the head of a supernatural order of wizards, she spits on him and tells him, "Go fuck yourself, pig." Legend.
