  • Ezel shows how much of a genius he is when he manages to counteract Judgemaster Cid's special Law with an Antilaw of his own, then teleports himself to safety.
  • Marche defeats Babus and the fourth Totema (which, admittedly, is weakened) all by himself.
  • After several missions of Doned sabotaging Marche's efforts, Marche manages to pull a Batman Gambit to lure Doned out by taking on an especially lucrative mission, knowing that Doned wouldn't hesitate to interfere.
  • Marche defeating Ritz and her clan in the game's penultimate mission. For much of the game, Ritz had always seemed like the strongest and most self-assured of the main characters, and Marche had thought that once he found her, he'd be able to find a way to go back, so the fact that he can fight her as an equal shows how far he's come. Ritz is somewhat pleasantly surprised to see that Marche is willing to stand up to her, and after she's defeated, is certain that he'll succeed.
  • At the end of the game, Marche, who'd previously been too shy to introduce himself, insists that the bullies call him by name, not "transfer student." Moments later, he and Mewt nail Colin and Guinness with snowballs.
