Considering the Ax-Crazy psycho had kidnapped and tried to kill her and Izzy was scared out of her wits, that took a lot of guts from her and he totally deserved it.*She shoves the cleaver straight to Asher's face*
- Later on, in Vol. 2, when Asher returns to help Venus kill Izzy, both Hashim and Noah take turns in fighting him off to keep Izzy safe. However, the guy manages to sneak past them and, grabbing a gun, shoots Izzy in the shoulder. Asher soon realizes that was a big mistake to do that in front of Noah...
Noah: You dumb... *reaches for Asher's cleaver* Ugly... SHITHEADED....MOTHERFUCKER! *he chops Asher's arm off with his cleaver* - In "Debate
", when Izzy is finally put on trial for charges of indecency, she gives an impassioned defense that serves as a Take That! towards Moral Guardians:Izzy: Okay that's enough! I am NOT responsible for what these kids are exposed to! I made a porno game, yeah! But I didn't make the cartoon! And even if I HAD, it's up to parents to control what their kids are exposed to! - Darcy IS. ... a bringer of awesome moments:
- Her first Big Damn Heroes moment, when she saves Izzy from getting killed by Zachary, one of Venus' minions. Helps that she makes an awesome entrance, and she's dressed as Satsuki Kiryuin no less! The fight between her and Zachary is also pretty cool.
Darcy: Put the katana DOWN, you worthless DOG!Zachary: What?!Darcy: If you hurt her, I will KILL you a thousand times over, and your very SOUL will die in the infinite abyss that is my ANGER!Izzy (fawning over a pink background): Girls!Darcy (in Satsuki's Kamui uniform): Now get away from MY PROPERTY, worm!- The first fight scene between Darcy and Orca from both sides: Darcy for showing off some great fighting skills and Orca for managing to hold his own against her.
- Likewise, it's the second fight between Darcy and Orca (from pages 968-969 and 986-989) that manages to top the previous one. If the fight begins with a Shout-Out to Jojos Bizarre Adventure, you know it's gonna be good. Special mention goes to Orca, who actually manages to subdue Darcy by stabbing her through the gut with a harpoon. However, while it does take her out of the fight momentarily, Orca soon learns that Darcy IS.... much MUCH tougher than he thought.
Darcy (off-panel): Oh, "captain!"Captain Orca: What in the name of all creation?!Darcy: You are nowhere NEAR the hunter you claim to be...or you would clearly know- One should ALWAYS check the body.- Darcy's quite capable of delivering the best Badass Boast, but this one from her heart-to-heart with Espinosa (who is questioning her sexuality) truly cements what kind of character Darcy IS.

- Hashim is no slouch in making awesome, or rather "badical" moments for himself, starting from when he took on Asher and kicked him out of the meeting, even taking a slash in his eye from a broken beer bottle to protect Izzy.
- Also, the wrestling match between him and the rest of Izzy's gang and Canyon and the Wrestleboys, especially his battle against Wreckage. Sure, Hashim ultimately forfeited the match, but still.
- In "Extreme Sex", Hashim going aerial on his skateboard to pull off a slam dunk and succeeding is kinda awesome in a funny way (the "funny" part being using Sarah as the ball and them both being butt naked at the time.)
- At a wrestling match, a Heel is bragging about defeating his opponent. Hashim takes offense to that and the wrestler challenges him to an impromptu match (while implying that he doesn't think Hashim will actually accept it). Hashim obliges.
Heel Wrestler (internally): Upon reflection, this may have been a bad idea.- Hashim vs. a bear. That is all.
- Also, the wrestling match between him and the rest of Izzy's gang and Canyon and the Wrestleboys, especially his battle
- The entirety of the "How Do I" arc is one for Max. He was gonna make it to that prom.
- Max gets kidnapped by a pair of thugs looking to ransom Izzy. It ends badly for the kidnappers.
Thug: We're not afraid of the military police!- Max gets free....and then gets cornered by a mountain lion. The resulting fight is really brutal, especially when you remember Max is just a kid, but he eventually wins by giving the lion a kick to the nuts. Awesome and hilarious.
- And when a bloodied, sliced-up Max finally makes it to the prom to see Skyler trying to steal his dance with Calixta?
Max (to Skyler): HANDS OFF MY WOMAN!- Also, this:
Skyler: Uh, excuse me? I was gonna dance with her. Beat it, loser.*Max, without changing his expression or saying a word, punches Skyler in the face.* - Max gets kidnapped
- Sarah making Sybil's phone disappear in "Presto", mostly because someone finally decide to give the latter some much needed karma for her rude, annoying attitude toward the other characters.
- After years of the story hinting at it, we finally see how Izzy and Adelie were saved in Vol. 5: Florida Man, through the power of drugs and booze, manages to telepathically contact Red Snapper's mother to tell her that Izzy and Addy are alive, but need to be rescued. Indeed, the fish girl and her daughter swim to the car, get them out and carry them back to land. The former even gives a Magic Kiss to both of them to breathe out the water. It's the one bit of awesome during a series of harrowing and tragic flashbacks.
- Omegaman, despite usually being used for comedy, often proves to others just why he is this comic's greatest hero:
- Him fighting back against Izzy and her army in Vol. 5. He probably would've won if not for Florida Man and his crew distracting him, but it is still awesome to see someone getting tired of Izzy's antics and try to put a stop to them (and not be crazy and/or evil, too!)
- There's his "fight" against Miss Mantis and Scarab. Despite their training, preparations and even carrying his one weakness, Omegaman proves to them that "you can't prepare for Superman."
- Soon enough, when Doctor Bald's mutated Kraken rampages through Key Manati, Omegaman decides to repel the monster's mutation by delivering a powerful blast of his own Omega Energy. It must be seen to be believed!
- Even more awesome, he does this knowing full well that he might either lose his powers or even die! It's almost fortunate that only the former happens to him...and even then, as implied in the last right panel of "Mother Box", his powers might not be gone for long...

- Finally, there's his He's Back! moment in "Last Stand."Florida Man: (as Darcy and Hashim try their best to hit him, but to no avail): Do you know why you can't beat me? You can't move like I do, because you don't THINK like I do! See. I want nothing. I EXPECT nothing. And that's why YOU WILL NEVER- (immediately gets socked in the face)
Omegaman: Hello again citizen. Should've at least expected THAT.

- After tormenting her throughout the entirety of the latter half of Vol. 6 and messing with her life, Izzy gathers enough courage to finally shoot Florida Man!Florida Man: Who is she?! She's NOBODY! She's NOTHING! A one-dimensional paper doll I CREATED to mess around with! All your JOY is because of me! All your misery is FROM me! Face it"LITTLE LADY".... I AM THE ARCHITECT OF EVERYTHING YOU ARE!
Izzy: ....yeah. *aims her gun at him* Even this. - Calixta's debut in the Ocean Festival as her new wrestling alter-ego is honestly pretty awesome, mostly thanks to Cricket's gloriously over-the-top introduction.
- Even the little montage of wrestling moves she pulls in the next comic are a sight to behold. The shy beanpole's got a good future on her shoulders.

- Calixta once again proves her badass-itude when she somehow manages to be completely unaffected by Brittany's newfound Omega powers, as she walks toward her despite the latter trying to toss her away. This causes the empowered Alpha Bitch, who had so far been unbeatable against a whole superhero team, to almost lose composure and Calixta probably would've had defeated her had Max not stepped in between them.
- In the comments section of "Bail", a commenter makes a big mistake using an offensive term (specifically one that's insulting to disabled individuals) to describe Calixta's mother trying to pick a fight with Izzy over Max and her daughter. The other commenters pull no punches in calling them out for their blatant ableism, but the crowning example comes when Doc Glasgow gets involved when another commenter, calling himself "Max from Ennui Go" tries to defend the other."Max from Ennui Go": I say retard every day.
Doctor Glasgow: No he doesn't. - In the "La Quinceanera" arc, "Knight" has all of Bee's friends (even Brittany) gang up on Calixta's cousin after he manhandles her for information on the Obsidian Mirror; Cricket in particular giving the jerk a flying kick to the face!
- When Max and Jericho first fought in "Little Fish", it was a Curb-Stomp Battle in the latter's favor. However, in "Payback", Jericho learns the hard way that Max isn't the same freshman he knew before.Jericho: STILL too slow, juniormeat! (punches Max in the face, causing him to bleed out from his nose.)
Max: (crouching down) Sorry jackass! But I got a reputation to maintain! (dodges another punch from Jericho)
Jericho: (shocked) Wh- (gets cold-cocked in the chin by Max)
Max: Get outta my high school, BITCH!
