Movie version
- The movie has a teenaged girl go up against a full-grown adult in a sword duel on a beach. Wanna bother guessing who wins?Mordred/Mr. Moore: (dismissively) Arthur can't be a girl.Allie: And yet, here we are.
- The movie moved the final battle to a beach. Extra effort must have been put into emphasizing the beautiful surroundings and wide-open landscape, because it's easy to spot.
- During the battle, Miles, Will, Lance and Marco can be seen fighting Mordred's army.
- Miles also fully embraces his role as Merlin, reclaiming his magic staff. Which Mr. Moore had gotten ahold of previously and was using for his own ends.
- There's something to be said for the movie's twist near the end. Ellie, the girl, is the reincarnated King Arthur, as revealed when she summons Excalibur in defense of Will.
- That and The Reveal of Mr. Moore being Mordred, after Marco turns out to be a Red Herring, make for an interesting pair of plot twists in what initially appeared to be a straightforward story with no twists.
