The entire final escape sequence in the Tomb of Tin Hinan, when Tasi is forced to run from countless Ghouls and the Shadow looking for her, even leading to a false break for her after she exits one of the former creatures' tunnels, culminating with her barely making it out alive, but still ending with the Shadow taking the Orb and breaking the portal she was using, teleporting her in the Other World instead of getting her to the other members of the expedition.
The penultimate part of the Cistern level, having Tasi move through several sections of a tight sewer, making her swim to get from one point to another, only for a Ghoul to appear in it and cause one of the game's most desperate chases, forcing the protagonist to quickly break any obstacles before it catches her, nearly drowning throughout the ordeal, reaching a point where she finds a gate that is impossible to tear apart, having to turn a crank until it finally opened and then is pulled Down the Drain into safety.
Tasi refusing to leave Empress Tihana to just freely "reign" over the Other World, being perpetually supplied with Vitae through the torture of countless victims around the place, a supply that is poisoned by the former, who injects the Shadow itself in it, killing the empress, destroying her tower and ending the whole Vitae production, though at the cost of Tasi's own life, and of her daughter.
The events of the Provider ending itself are this, with Tasi completely ignoring Tihana's wish, making all of the empress' attempts at manipulating her lead to nothing, as she runs away to Paris with her daughter, possibly allowing the woman to have a new chance to live, despite that ending's negative implications, and if the player decides to, they can also leave her Vitae production partially poisoned, essentially "spiting" on the empress before leaving.
The culmination of the hunt for Anton Metzier, resulting in Tasi, angry and at the edge of transformation, slamming his head against the Throne Room's stairs for his troubles, only not brutalizing his body even more because Empress Tihana intervenes.
