NintendoHard: One of the hardest games ever made. Not only does Silver Surfer die in one hit, but the levels are full of hazards and enemies that will likely get him, and because of the surfboard, his hitbox is massive.

Additionally, the big complaint isn't so much the one-hit-death as it is the fact that it's incredibly difficult to dodge anything because the Surfer's hitbox is gigantic (in most BulletHell games, the protagonist's hitbox is tiny), most of the powerups [[PowerupLetdown aren't enough to compensate]], and many projectiles are rather hard to spot.
