* NeverLiveItDown: His accidentally punching [[Creator/AllisonPregler Obscurus Lupa]] in the face while filming a crossover review. The other TGWTG members promptly took to jokes about him being a serial woman puncher. May be seen as HarsherInHindsight now given their later falling out.

Although previously critical of Channel Awesome's mismanagement, he subsequently dismissed all accusations of workplace abuse as either exaggerations or outright lies, infamously saying the mocking line "I just want an apology, whether you mean it or not!". He's especially infamous for a (later retracted) accusation of a malicious [=SWATting=] incident at the funeral of his wife's father. This led to a breakdown of relations between Allison and Brad, with Allison removing all crossover videos the two did and one of Brad's producers cutting ties with him.

Although he had been critical of Channel Awesome's mismanagement in the past, he subsequently began to handwave all accusations of workplace abuse as either exaggerations or outright lies, infamously saying the mocking line, "I just want an apology, whether you mean it or not!". As far as the aforementioned falling-out with Creator/AllisonPregler (Obscurus Lupa) is concerned, the final straw came in June 2019 when Brad and his wife Laura blamed Allison for provoking an alleged swatting incident at a funeral, and Brad took it one step further by accusing the [=#ChangeTheChannel=] movement as wholeheartedly supporting the swatting (which he later backtracked on). To top it all off, Brad and Laura subsequently made a [=YouTube=] video where the latter mocked the mental health of a woman implied to be Allison (who suffers from depression), while Brad sarcastically called her out on it. Jones' [=YouTube=] channel, Stoned Gremlin Productions, lost nearly ''1,000'' subscribers within a couple weeks of the incident, and Allison subsequently purged all of her crossover videos with Brad from her Movie Nights channel on [=YouTube=]. [[WebVideo/BadMovieBeatdown Mathew Buck]] (Film Brain), one of the producers whom Jones accused, states that this was unforgivable and wants nothing to do with Jones anymore. Brian Lewis, a former friend of Jones, was a bit quiet about this, not wanting himself to be added to the controversy, but posted tweets that imply that he was disgusted by Jones. Creator/LewisLovhaug (Linkara) also made clear where he stood on the issue in his 600th episode, making it clear he is done with Jones as well.

** After Brad and past creators who were his friends found themselves on opposite sides of the Channel Awesome controversy, his crossover episode may be hard watch. Most notable would be the review of Film/SirArthurConanDoylesSherlockHolmes, when Brad accidentally hit Creator/AllisonPregler right in the face with what was supposed to be a mock punch.

As stated in this thread.

* HarsherInHindsight: One episode of ''Brad and Jerrid'' is titled "Brad and Jerrid Hate Each Other", where the two of them (in-character) argue with each other over the film ''Film/TheTreeOfLife''. This becomes rather awkward in retrospect after the two had a real-life falling out in early 2012 that led to Jerrid being temporarily kicked out of Team Snob.

** In 2018, Brad came out against the Change The Channel movement, although he also had expressed problems with the Website/ChannelAwesome site management and certain things about the anniversary films when they were being shot. He mocked the movement as, "not getting Applebees" (in reference to Alison Pregler's account in the document, which she later backtracked on) and has made light of everyone's complaints otherwise. Later in 2019, he also blamed the supporters of the movement for prank calling the police saying Brad was suicidal, causing a cop to be sent to his house to check on him (which he claims was a swatting) as a result. His wife subsequently blamed Creator/AllisonPregler for this, saying it was her fanbase that did it because it apparently happened when she was at her father's funeral after his suicide, caused by strong anger on her part from that happening. Allison claimed to have found holes in Brad's story which led her to believe that he lied about the swatting to discredit CTC. This has driven a wall between him (and his wife) and past creators who were his friends, causing them to part on bad terms. Knowing this can make his past interactions with them in his and other videos hard to watch. Most notably, during their joint review of ''Film/SirArthurConanDoylesSherlockHolmes'', Brad accidentally hit Allison right in the face with what was supposed to be a mock punch, something other members of Channel Awesome joked about afterwards.

This despite the fact that ''he'' also had expressed problems with the Website/ChannelAwesome site management and certain things about the anniversary films when they were being shot. He said that everyone who had legit grievances with the site were whining about, "Not gettting Applebees" (of which, only 1 person complained about, and only a small number of others brought up that it was stupid that they didn't have catering on the sets of the movies) and has made light of everyone's complaints otherwise. Later in 2019, he also blamed the supporters of the movement for prank calling the police saying Brad was suicidal, causing a cop to be sent to his house to check on him (which he claims was a swatting) as a result, despite there being no proof of this being the case. His wife subsequently blamed Creator/AllisonPregler for this, saying it was her fanbase that did it (again, with no proof) because it apparently happened when she was at her father's funeral after his suicide, obviously caused by strong anger on her part from that happening. This has driven a wall between him (and his wife) and past creators who were his friends, causing them to part on bad terms. * HarsherInHindsight: In 2018, Brad came out against the Change The Channel movement. This despite the fact that ''he'' movement, although he also had expressed problems with the Website/ChannelAwesome site management and certain things about the anniversary films when they were being shot. He said that everyone who had legit grievances with mocked the site were whining about, "Not gettting movement as, "not getting Applebees" (of which, only 1 person complained about, and only a small number of others brought up that it was stupid that they didn't have catering on (in reference to Alison Pregler's account in the sets of the movies) document, which she later backtracked on) and has made light of everyone's complaints otherwise. Later in 2019, he also blamed the supporters of the movement for prank calling the police saying Brad was suicidal, causing a cop to be sent to his house to check on him (which he claims was a swatting) as a result, despite there being no proof of this being the case. result. His wife subsequently blamed Creator/AllisonPregler for this, saying it was her fanbase that did it (again, with no proof) because it apparently happened when she was at her father's funeral after his suicide, obviously caused by strong anger on her part from that happening.happening.
