New Romford is a city filled with superpeople. There are superheroes like Adonis and Speedster, supervillains like Lightning Bug and the Dinosaur Queen, and regular citizens who just happen to have superpowers who aren't into that whole "ostumed vigilante" thing. So things happen. Destroyed buildings, crushed cars and monster carcasses are all regular occurrences in New Romford, and people need to insure their property. Amanda's one of the sympathetic people who assesses the damage and processes your claim. Just like on our world, only with weapons and body armor.

* NoOneCouldSurviveThat: Subverted. Adonis' SecretIdentity was "killed" in a highly visible and very spectacular incident. Now he's stuck being Adonis ("Donnie" to his friends) full-time and feeling a bit alienated.
* SecretIdentity: Inverted: Adonis' civilian identity was killed, forcing to live as Adonis full-time. He finds the experience both liberating and a bit alienating.
