* WhatYouAreInTheDark: This episode seems to highlight it with Selina especially. Both times she is alone with clone!Bruce (this episode and two episodes ago), she talks about how real!Bruce is a better person in every way, not to mention she tries to stop clone!Bruce, tries to warn Alfred that he's not the real Bruce, and tells Alfred about the plan to destroy Gotham. Yet when Alfred tells her to help him find Bruce, she says, "There's nothing in it for me," making her come across as uncaring. Had Alfred stepped back and observed her ''actions'', he might have seen that she cared a great deal about Bruce, despite her unconcerned facade. Actions speak louder than words, indeed, with Ms. Kyle.

* MythologyGag: Barnes' ax-gauntlet is similar to [[WesternAnimation/BatmanMaskOfThePhantasm Phantasm's]]. Fans might find his background as a law enforcement agent gone corrupt to be very similar to a cross between [[WesternAnimation/BatmanTheAnimatedSeries Lock-Up and the Judge (Two-Face's third personality)]].

* TheReasonYouSuckSpeech: Alfred gives Selina one due to her being unwilling to save Bruce. Whether this is merited or not is debatable: she ''did'' come back to Wayne Manor to take out the clone, warn Alfred, and tell him about the plan to burn Gotham to the ground. Plus, asking a kid to risk her life yet again, when he previously chewed Bruce out for doing that exact thing, makes him seem a wee bit hypocritical.
