Hi there! My name (as far as this site is concerned) is ZimFan89. As you can probably tell from my name, I'm a big fan of Invader Zim, though I also enjoy a great other number of things, including various anime/manga, movies, comics, cartoons, books, and fanfiction. Basically, if it has any mix of sci-fi/fantasy/action/adventure/humor, I'll probably like it.
I don't do social media, though. Never saw the appeal, honestly. Fan sites like this are basically my whole online presence.
I've written a fair amount of fanfiction under my pen name Zim'sMostLoyalServant. I'm particularly fond of my The New Adventures of Invader Zim series and my story Ruby Pair, both of which you'll note have their own pages on this site.
Just to throw out some other info about myself: I also love cats, fast food, and musicals, I'm a mostly non-practicing Jew, and I have Asperger's Syndrome.
Some tropes that apply to me:
- Grammar Nazi: The misuse of apostrophes and "there/their/they're" really gets under my skin.
- Kindhearted Cat Lover: I love my cats, and they love me.
- Trademark Favorite Food: I'll eat pizza pretty much any time, but if we're talking proper meals rather than just grabbing a bite, then it's chicken parmigiana.
