Orchid is an exception, although she still plays the trope straight with her PowerIncontinence. It's revealed in Chapter 3, "Blessed and Cursed", that an awoken ''lambero'' can fire up to fifteen megatons of energy, about one thousand times stronger than the Hiroshima nuclear bomb.

* The ''[[http://www.fanfiction.net/s/3354083/1/Unexpected_Results_I_A_Slight_Glitch Unexpected]] [[http://www.fanfiction.net/s/3563720/1/Unexpected_Results_II_In_All_the_Empty_Places Results]]'' series (a ''LightNovel/TrinityBlood'' fan fic) has Johanna Sinclair, a character with time manipulation abilities that can trigger what is referred to as 'temporal whiplash', with the effect varying according to the age of the victim. In the case of a human it'll have a similar effect to an electric shock and usually knocks them out. When used on a vampire the result is akin to a bomb going off and it is theorized that using it against anything older than a vampire (i.e. a Crusnik) would be like setting off a nuke. This puts her in the rather difficult position of being theoretically capable of taking out the BigBad but not without a hell of a lot of collateral damage.

Her advisor, Jacob Cromwell, doesn't truly comprehend how powerful she is until Malty dismisses an army of level 100 soldiers (the normal level cap) as worthless when questioning why Medea took them.

* [[SociopathicHero Mark Westion]] in ''Roleplay/YukariIsFree'' (an ''Manga/AzumangaDaioh'' [[MegaCrossover Mega-Crossover]]) possesses the power to fire giant lasers. At one point in the story, he fires one so big it accidentally destroys a planet. His girlfriend then hits him in the face with a baseball bat.

** Anodites who have mastered their powers are apparently among the higher tiers of cosmic beings, particularly because their durability is high enough that, at least according to Vilgax, actually ''killing'' one woulfd require an ''Infinity Stone''.

* ''EquestriaGirlsFriendshipSouls'':

** Hollow King Tirek and [[spoiler Quincy]] King Sombra are this without a doubt. Sombra's Schrift "The Absolute" grants him total mastery of space and one way he can manipulate it is to create arrows capable of punching through even the strongest materials. Tirek without releasing his zanpakuto is strong enough to unleash swings capable of destroying ''skyscrapers'' while his Ceros are described as akin to solar flares, and just one shot was almost enough to blast through Shining Armor's [[LuckilyMyShieldWillProtectMe Bastion power]].

* ''[[http://www.fimfiction.net/story/174671/seeking-power Seeking Power]]'', an AU work predating the first episode of ''MyLittlePonyFriendshipIsMagic'', features a treaty called the Alicorn Accord. The pertinent details are that Celestia isn't allowed to take the field of battle, but ancient dragons would be able to come to Equestria's aid should they be needed. Much to Twilight's annoyance, she was added to the list of 'ponies who count as war crimes should they show up at a battle'.

* Shinji in ''FanFic/ShinjiAndWarhammer40K'', due in part to the [[LensmanArmsRace ever-increasing scale of the battles with the Angels]], usually ends up destroying much of Tokyo-3 in his efforts to save it, to his considerable chagrin. Other cities and nations like him, but don't want him visiting since they can't afford the repairs. It gets to the point that after a leave of absence, the fact that surprise reinforcements cause so much devastation tips off the defenders that he's returned. There's also a time when whatever ability lets him sync with an Eva get flipped inside out, briefly giving him the power to "crack the planet in half," but he spends a whole story arc trying to fix it.

* Long Fen Zao in ''FanFic/TheOdyssey''. Otherwise known as the Last Shogun, survivor of no less than two apocalypses, tutor of the current Empress. The man is an ''essence ten'' Dragon-Blood, which in ''TabletopGame/{{Exalted}}'' terms means he's basically Armageddon on two legs.

* Yachiru and [[spoiler:Hitsugaya]] in ''FanFic/UninvitedGuests''. Between the two of them, they [[spoiler:completely destroy Las Noches and defeat all espada in a couple of hours; though Hitsugaya was in berserk mode most of the time and Yachiru technically did it by accident. Or did she..?]]

Which really isn't that seductive, given how much [[BlessedWithSuck Suck]] it came with.

* In the WesternAnimation/{{Daria}} ExpandedUniverse series ''Legion of Lawndale Heroes'', persons who fit this trope are classified as 'Class Five' beings. These are the people who have powers that could outright flatten a city... for starters. [[LittleMissBadass Quinn Morgendorffer]] is a perfect example: [[LightningCanDoAnything with her electrical powers]], she once caused ''[[EarthShatteringKaboom a line of nuclear detonations.]]''

** [[spoiler:Ms. Bustier]], having a decent knowledge on the supernatural and other entities, mentions that even ''minor'' deities carry enough mystical power in them to reduce entire '''continents''' to rubble. It's also confirmed that major deities from different pantheons have enough mythical power to be classified as planet killers.

* ''Fanfic/TheSecretReturnOfAlexMack'' has [[Literature/{{Firestarter}} Charlie "Pyre" McGee]], all of eight years old and already handing [[NighInvulnerability nigh-invulnerable]] bad guys their rears. She kills [[Franchise/{{Godzilla}} "Gojira"]] handily, and [[spoiler: ''suicide-nukes'' a GreyGoo outbreak in an epicly TearJerker DyingMomentOfAwesome.]]

* While Naruto can certainly do this in ''[[https://www.fanfiction.net/s/6701262/1/ True Warriors Never Die]]'' (having created a lake in Hueco Mundo when he and Harribel fought), Gaara reigns supreme. Apparently, several hundred years prior Barragan's forces pressed him hard enough that Gaara (who'd become an arrancar) was forced to use his Resureccion, which turned all of Hueco Mundo into the desert it is today.

* In the crossover ''Fanfic/SOE2LoneHeirOfKrypton'', Asuka is Kryptonian. Ergo, she's the most powerful woman in the world. She can very easily level whole cities. At one point she lifted a skyscraper and dropped it on the head of a giant EldritchAbomination.
** The other ''Fanfic/SuperwomenOfEva'' are no different at all. Misato as the Hulk is treated as a weapon of mass destruction waiting to go off if someone looks at her funny, and even a BadassNormal like Batgirl is seen as a harbinger of doom by Japan's criminal underground [[spoiler:of which Gendo is boss.]]

* The trope's name is called directly by General Ross in ''Fanfic/TheLastSon'', when referring to Superman managing to subdue the Hulk in a physical fight.

* In ''Fanfic/NeitherABirdNorAPlaneItsDeku'', numerous powerful Heroes, such as All Might and Firestorm, can accomplish feats like changing the weather with a punch or turning all of Mt. Fuji into a pillar of salt. Izuku, a [[FlyingBrick Kryptonian]], ''isn't'' this during the story, but it's his fear of becoming one that contributes to his refusal to become a Hero at the story's outset.

** Harry and [[spoiler: Diana]] are [[PlotRelevantAgeUp briefly jacked up]] to this territory at the end of chapter 59. A blast from Harry, one he explicitly intended to be small, vaporised a supercharged werewolf capable of standing up to an [[PhysicalGod Asgardian]] and basically destroyed a mountain on the other side of the valley. A large blast is visible from space, is ''mistaken for a nuke'' by NASA and launches its target [[spoiler: a reverse engineered and remote controlled version of the Destroyer]] from the Rockies to a potato field seventy miles east of Moscow. And both the narration and WordOfGod have hinted that he was only scratching the surface...

The one trick is called 'Sol Invictus', which is responsible for the formation of the Glass Desert. And the death of over one hundred thousand combatants. Notably, despite this, it's ''Luna'' who's more feared. Then again, Luna is able to leave survivors. [[spoiler:In fact, part of the political intrigue comes from Celestia not being able to put enough fear into some ponies as a royal force of nature.]]

* ''Fanfic/{{The Games We Play|TheGamerRWBY}}'': Bianca can blow up buildings even with portals only the size of a finger. If she ever cut loose, she could easily level a city. By the time of the Arc family spar, Jaune can call down city-wrecking earthquakes and tsunamis.

* In ''Fanfic/ChildrenOfAnElderGod'', Shinji, Asuka and Rei –and to a lesser extent, Touji and Hikari- pilot HumongousMecha and wield powers stolen from {{Eldritch Abomination}}s. “Mass Destruction” doesn’t even come close to describe the kind of devastation that they can cause.
