* WebVideo/JurassicWhatIf: The Ultimasaurus is far more destructive than any of the canon hybrids ever were. Upon escaping its paddock, it wipes out 95% of Isla Nublar's entire security detail and turns Jurassic World's Main Street into a lifeless bloodbath, all inside of just two hours. And post-incident reports suggest that it's afterwards managed to kill over 80% of all human, dinosaur and animal life on Isla Nublar.

When used on a vampire the result is akin to a bomb going off and it is theorized that using it against anything older than a vampire (i.e. a Crusnik) would be like setting off a nuke. Others mentioned include Magneto, the Juggernaut, the Abomination and Count Nefaria.
** And Wanda Maximoff, who seems to have a penchant for laser guided meteor strikes. And according to Fitzsimmons, she's done scarier things than that.
** If Harry Dresden wasn't already this, his [[spoiler: use of his Death Curse - he got better - to launch Gravemoss well over five hundred miles from Paris to the North Sea]] would put him into this range.
** Harry and are briefly jacked up to this territory at the end of chapter 59. A blast from Harry, one he explicitly intended to be small, vaporised a supercharged werewolf capable of standing up to an Asgardian and basically destroyed a mountain on the other side of the valley. A large blast is visible from space, is mistaken for a nuke by NASA and launches its target from the Rockies to a potato field seventy miles east of Moscow. And both the narration and WordOfGod have hinted that he was only scratching the surface...
*** Even more impressively, said target survives intact, and proves her credentials by ripping it in half with her bare hands.
*** By the sequel, Ghosts of the Past, Harry's solidly into this territory. Jean Grey and , meanwhile, leave him in the dust.
*** The fic also deconstructs this trope, noting that being able to cause mass destruction is great if you're in the middle of nowhere and facing an equally powerful opponent who's coming at you head-on. If you're surrounded by civilians, faced with an enemy who has no problem taking hostages, and your usual MO is basically "blow up everything in sight, then blow up the rubble just to make sure," then it's much more of a problem.

* Fanfic/AdviceAndTrust: Shinji, Asuka and Rei are capable of massive property damage or even ending humanity (and Rei not even needs a giant robot to achieve that). Sometimes Asuka states that they're the most dangerous people in the world.
* In Fanfic/ThousandShinji, Shinji, Asuka and Plaguemaster Rei gain powers while their bodies evolve to fight their enemies. Before the end of the story they're capable to level whole cities or even exterminate the human race.
* In Fanfic/ChildrenOfAnElderGod, Shinji, Asuka and Rei –and to a lesser extent, Touji and Hikari- pilot HumongousMecha and wield powers stolen from Eldritch Abominations. “Mass Destruction” doesn’t even come close to describe the kind of devastation that they can cause.
* Fanfic/TheSecondTry: Shinji wiped out all of humanity and almost annihilated it a second time. Asuka can crush an army single-handedly and easily. And Rei is an alien goddess.
* Any of the main characters in Fanfic/NeonGenesisEvangelionGenocide is perfectly able of leveling cities –or worse- using their giant mechas.
* In Fanfic/LastChildOfKrypton, Shinji and are massively powerful super-heroes. They're capable of picking up Mount Everest with their bare hands and putting it in the Gobi Desert.
* In Fanfic/OnceMoreWithFeeling, Misato nicknamed Shinji “Godzilla” after he destroyed half city in a simulated battle.
* In the crossover Fanfic/SOE2LoneHeirOfKrypton, Asuka is Kryptonian. Ergo, she's the most powerful woman in the world. She can very easily level whole cities. At one point she lifted a skyscraper and dropped it on the head of a giant EldritchAbomination.
** The other Fanfic/SuperwomenOfEva are no different at all. Misato as the Hulk is treated as a weapon of mass destruction waiting to go off if someone looks at her funny, and even a BadassNormal like Batgirl is seen as a harbinger of doom by Japan's criminal underground
* The trope's name is called directly by General Ross in Fanfic/TheLastSon, when referring to Superman managing to subdue the Hulk in a physical fight.
* Fanfic/TheGodSquad itself, when they truly apply themselves, are almost all pretty much this. Special mention to Lord Tydal, who not only managed to take out 4 different armies but also faced off with Person Of Mass Destruction himself Tirek when he was at full strength; Tirek admits that had Tydal been willing to use his full power he could have easily defeated him... but doing so would have destroyed the planet, if not the solar system, due to just how much magic Tydal is forced to keep locked away.
* ComicBook/Supergirl fanfic Fanfic/HellsisterTrilogy offers many examples from the main character to baddies such like Mordru or Darkseid, but Berserker, the son of Supergirl's evil doppelganger Satan Girl and Mordru stands out. As powerful as a Pre-Crisis Kryptonian, plus vast magic powers plus fighting training supplied by Darkseid.
-->A 3-dimensional hologram sprang into being just over their heads. It picked out a portion of the Milky Way Galaxy, then drew in on several planets in distant but related solar systems. From each planet, in turn, images of carnage, wreckage, destruction emerged. Kara and Dev gazed at them. True, they weren’t strangers to sights such as these. But, still...\\
From one, a moving image sprang forth. A rapidly-moving figure, tearing through the machinery and soldiers of a well-equipped army. Just one man against a horde, and within minutes, that man had won.
* In Fanfic/NeitherABirdNorAPlaneItsDeku, numerous powerful Heroes, such as All Might and Firestorm, can accomplish feats like changing the weather with a punch or turning all of Mt. Fuji into a pillar of salt. Izuku, a Kryptonian, isn't this during the story, but it's his fear of becoming one that contributes to his refusal to become a Hero at the story's outset.
