* Invoked in the ''Series/BurnNotice'' episode "Friendly Fire" -- Michael presents himself to some credulous Latino gangsters as a mysterious figure dressed in black and red, who seemingly causes explosions with a snap of his fingers and speaks in a very low, calm voice. He calls himself "Luis".

* The "Luci" Premium Edition of the ''Pinball/{{ACDC}}'' pinball table is named after {{Horny Devil|s}} girl Luci, who is heavily implied to be Satan.

Be very wary of guys named "Lou", "Luke", "Lukas", or "Lucius", particularly if their last name is Siffer or Cypher or [[NamesToRunAwayFromReallyFast something like that]]. Remember to keep an ear open for Milton (author of ''Literature/ParadiseLost'') and [[NamesToRunAwayFrom/{{Mor}} Morgenstern]] (German for "morning star"; but [[EveryoneIsJesusInPurgatory be careful with this one]], "morning star" is [[MessianicArchetype also a title for Jesus]][[note]]''I Jesus have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things in the churches. I am the root and the offspring of David, and the bright and morning star.'' (Rev. 22:16)[[/note]]). Also take a careful look at the ones named "Nick", "Scratch", "Deuce", "Thorn" or some variant thereon, [[PresidentEvil and definitely don't trust any President whose name is Nixon (which, apart from the obvious, also sounds exactly like "Nick's son")]]. In certain cases, don't trust [[HotAsHell women named "Lucy" or "Georgia"]]. You should also be on the lookout for anyone with a two-syllable name starting with "S" and ending with "N." Apparently the Devil's not very good at choosing aliases, despite having a huge variety to pick from. Or maybe it just shows [[GoodIsDumb his opinion of the hero's intelligence level]]. Or, it could just be ego.

* In the HGame ''Lucy Got Problems,'' the [[HornyDevils succubus]] protagonist, Lucy, is more properly named Lucile Furr, and has about five or so middle names, nicely crossing over with IHaveManyNames. It's not stated whether or not she's related to You Know Who, but...

* Music/DonMcLean's ''Music/AmericanPie'' features such a character, identified by the narrator as "Jack Flash," in the song's climactic penultimate verse, his appearance heralding the final transition from the turbulent but hopeful '60s to the ultra-cynical '70s. Many have speculated that this character is a metaphor for Mick Jagger of Music/TheRollingStones, owing to the Stones' songs "Jumping Jack Flash" and "Sympathy for the Devil;" [=McLean=] disliked the Stones' DarkerAndEdgier brand of rock and at the close of the '60s they had become infamous after a man was stabbed to death during their performance at the infamous Altamont Free Concert (though contrary to popular belief, the song they were playing at the time was ''not'' "Sympathy for the Devil").

* In ''Film/OBrotherWhereArtThou?'', the Sheriff Cooley is strongly implied to be Satan (and Tommy and Homer definitely believe that he his is). He shares is surname with the protagonist of ''The Devil and Dan Cooley'' by Creator/HollyLisle.

* ''Franchise/{{Batman}}'': The recently discovered final issue of the 1970s ''[[Characters/BatmanTheJoker Joker]]'' title had "Lou Cypher" appear to the Joker and offer him a deal. Since the issue ends on a cliffhanger and the rest of the story was almost certainly never written, it could just be one of Joker's [[OnlyADream psychotic delusions]].

* Also from Creator/GrantMorrison is Dr. Hurt, the villain of much of their ''ComicBook/{{Batman}}'' run, who claims to be, amongst other things, "the hole in things" and "the true enemy." [[spoiler: It's eventually revealed he's blowing smoke, but the truth is only slightly less grand: he's a human who gained immortality by merging with an Apokoliptian superweapon.]]

* There's a ''Comicbook/FantasticFour'' villain named Nicholas Scratch. He's involved with black magic and has made pacts with the likes of Mephisto.

* In the ''ComicBook/LegendsOfTheDarkKnight'' story "Gothic", this is alluded to but not actually used. There's a character named Morgenstern, the villain ''did'' make a DealWithTheDevil, and the Devil [[HowUnscientific actually manifests in the story]]. They just happen to be three separate characters.

* In Franchise/TheDCU, Lord Satanus adopted the identity of Colin '''Thorn'''ton as part of a plan to corrupt Characters/{{Superman|TheCharacter}}.
* Basically being Satan in green armor, [[Franchise/TheDCU DC]] villain Neron did this a few times in ''ComicBook/UnderworldUnleashed''.

* Creator/DanAykroyd once said of the long-in-DevelopmentHell third ''Franchise/{{Ghostbusters}}'' movie that it would involve the Ghostbusters going to Hell and meeting a UsefulNotes/DonaldTrump expy devil named "Lou Sifler".

* In the Creator/KatherineKerr novel ''Freezeframes'', the character Nick Harrison is revealed to be the devil. While not as common nowadays as Old Nick, Old Harry is another term for the devil, as used in Creator/TheBBC radio comedy ''Radio/OldHarrysGame''.

* Implied in ''Theatre/JasperInDeadland''. The most Hell-like part of Deadland is run by a former angel called "Little Lu"

* ''VisualNovel/{{Tsukihime}}'': Kagetsu Tohya reveals that unlike the other nightmares, Arcueid's cannot take form like Dark Elesia or Nanaya. Why? Because it's the Crimson Moon and can't take her over... yet. Shiki has a long talk with it under the impression that it's some alternate form of Arcueid, which is kind of true. After a while, it's not only glaringly obvious that this is ''not'' Arcueid. it's even admitted as much. It's much more morally ambiguous than the Devil, but it did try to crash the moon into the Earth at one point.

** Avoided with Mr. Satan, the World Champion of wrestling and martial arts. He's just a regular human with a cool name (or wrestling ringname, it's unclear). Also, albeit being a {{Jerkass}} most of the time, he [[JerkWithAHeartOfGold actually proved himself a good and caring man]]. We learn that he's from Jersey (natch) and his previous job experience includes used car sales, the DMV, the post office... and UNICEF. ("Hey, nobody's all bad!")

* ''WesternAnimation/MovilleMysteries'': One episode focuses on a boy trying to out-do the musical talents of her sister and takes a guitar lesson from a blind guy named Blaine Louis Zee Bonsoir. When the man mysteriously dissapears and leaves him his guitar, the boy becomes really talented. Moville, seeing this, points out that the man's initials in the guitar read "BLZB". At the end, it's subverted in that the guy doesn't really have that name but that he changed it to fit the initials on the guitar. One he won from a guy so talented that people claimed made a DealWithTheDevil...

* ''Series/{{Battlestar Galactica|1978}}'' had one Count Iblis during its "War of the Gods" two-parter. A mysterious visitor to the rag-tag fleet, he uses mysterious powers and miracles to persuade the Colonials to willingly grant him their loyalty, while mysterious beings of light start appearing and the characters start talking about theology. [[spoiler:He's eventually driven off when he accidentally strikes down a protagonist who explicitly rejected his authority.]]

* ''ComicBook/SpiderIsland'': [[ComicBook/IncredibleHercules Hercules]]' tie-in issues have him interact with a black man calling himself "A. Nancy", which isn't [[AtrociousAlias an insult]] so much as it is a reference to African myth's TricksterGod, Kwaku Anansi, who also goes by [[FluffyTheTerrible Aunt Nancy]]. He gets pretty close to breaking Kayfabe by [[LampshadeHanging noting the similarity]], but without revealing to Herc that he ''is'' the real deal.
