* The Mr. Saturn species of ''VideoGame/EarthBound1994'' and ''VideoGame/{{MOTHER 3}}''; their noses are quite literally a good third of their overall body.

* Alfendi Layton in ''[[VideoGame/ProfessorLayton Layton Bros. Mystery Room]]'' has a very dramatic nose that's almost half the size of his face. Considering that his father's nose is almost nonexistent, it certainly raises questions concerning his parentage.

* Aria from ''VideoGame/CryptOfTheNecrodancer'' has a long pointy nose. It's even visible on her tiny overworld sprite!

** One episode has an in-universe animated short about a trio of french men with large noses they used to prepare snack; one snorted up grapes and sneezed out wine, the next snorted up wedges of cheese and sneezed out cubes, the last snorted up toothpicks and sneezed out a replica of the Eiffel Tower. Unfortunately, the last one suffered a nose bleed, and the short ended with him comically running around in a panic.

* WesternAnimation/TheFlintstones: Barney Rubble's nose is often the target of prods, pings, and twangs from Fred Flintstone.

* Luther Levy from ''Webcomic/BiteMe'' and ''Webcomic/FamilyMan'' is drawn with an extremely long nose. In the latter, it overlaps with UnreliableNarrator due to his subdued InternalizedCategorism over being Jewish; in a scene where he thinks that some people nearby might also be Jewish, the next panel shows them all with exaggerated noses.

The most common shape for these noses is to either be extremely long and narrow like a stick, big and round like a clown nose, or the more {{reali|tyIsUnrealistic}}stic right-triangle nose. It can also have a different color (most commonly red and pink) than the face does. Compare the SinisterSchnoz, which is a ''villain'' having a long nose. Might also be a SizableSemiticNose if used to identify people from the Middle East and their descendants.

* UsefulNotes/RichardNixon. This feature is often played up on {{Nixon Mask}}s, and frequently combined with Pinocchio-like implications of his lack of trustworthiness.
* Creator/JimmyDurante and his Schnozzola. Parodied in just about all impersonations.
* Creator/WCFields ' nose, although factually normally-proportioned, was said to be oversized and red, mainly due to jokes on the Edgar Bergen & Charlie Mc Carthy radio show. It invariably gets exaggerated in Cartoon Caricatures of him. Other Celebrities during the ''WesternAnimation/LooneyTunes'' golden age with a notable nose gets this treatment, just Field's is the shining example.
* Creator/CrispinGlover. Really, he's god's gift to caricature artists.
* Images of a Jewish stereotype often make the nose almost crooked or like an eagle's beak.
* Creator/DouglasAdams often made (mostly exaggerated) jokes about his big nose himself, lampshading this trope with saying that it would be "good for nothing but making bad jokes about it".
* J. P. Morgan, who was so self-conscious about his large, bulbous nose[[note]]Specifically caused by untreated rosacea leading to rhinophyma, making his nose swollen, bumpy, and purple[[/note]] he hated people taking his picture without permission and insisted that it be airbrushed in official photographs.
* Deceased ex-Chilean president [[UsefulNotes/PresidentsOfChile Eduardo Frei Montalva had a HUGE nose]], which made him the target of many jokes and caricatures. Not helped by how [[StrongFamilyResemblance several of his kids inherited it]]... including his son Eduardo, who ''[[GenerationXerox also]]'' [[GenerationXerox became President]] ''[[GenerationXerox and]]'' [[GenerationXerox also was the butt of jokes due to said nose.]]
* Famous eccentric pop singer Music/LadyGaga, is a somewhat rare example of having a large nose.
* [[UsefulNotes/AustralianPolitics Australian Prime Minister Julia Gillard]] has a mild case of this, but political cartoons depicting her almost always exaggerate it to the point of being as large as the rest of her head.
* Tottenham Hotspur and England footballer Harry Kane has a famously large and distinctive nose, which is frequently alluded to unsubtly in commentator’s remarks (“he’s got a nose for goal”, “he can smell chances” and so on). Ironically, Kane is also known for suffering from chronic nasal congestion: it’s abundantly clear that he can’t breathe through his nose at all. Football fans frequently point out that the hapless striker’s nose is not only large but pretty much useless.
* Music/RingoStarr, especially [[{{Flanderization}} overemphasized]] in [[WesternAnimation.TheBeatles the cartoon]].
* Creator/AdrienBrody has a ridiculously long, thin nose.
* Charles De Gaulle's long and big nose was often exaggerated in caricatures.
* UsefulNotes/MargaretThatcher's pointy nose was also exaggerated in caricatures.
* Music/MichaelJackson's ever-shrinking nose was often foddered for the tabloids and a source for a lot of comedy, like in WesternAnimation/SouthPark and in Music/{{Eminem}}'s ''Just Lose It'', acting as if it continuously accidentally fell off his face.
* Music/BarryManilow and Music/BarbraStreisand are two other celebrities with huge noses, frequently mocked in satire.
** Barbra Streisand refused to have a nose job, allegedly because it would have altered her singing voice.
* Among other signs of his Gascon ancestry, Jean-Baptiste Bernadotte was noted for having a huge nose shaped like an eagle's beak. Interestingly enough, said nose is often more prominent in portraits made by Frenchmen - perhaps he underwent plastic surgery when he became Charles XIV John of Sweden?
* Giacomo Quarenghi, an Italian architect who spent much of his career in Russia, had a large, bulbous proboscis that is rumored to have likely contributed to him being the most frequently painted architect.
* For a non-human example, many species of bats. From simple fox-like noses with extra pointy bits to things that make the bat's head look like a hammer and anything in-between, bats seem to have gotten the lion's share of seriously weird noses in the animal kingdom.
* Another animal known for its big, funny nose is naturally the [[https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Proboscis_monkey proboscis monkey]]. Males tend to have bigger noses than females.
* Elephants, of course, although their long trunks are undoubtedly the most ''useful'' noses in the animal kingdom, used as a limb, strong enough to uproot a tree, and yet sensitive enough to pick up a single coin.
* On the canine side of things, many sighthounds have long, slender snouts. One of the breeds that best demonstrates this is the borzoi. One borzoi, named Eris, became a bit of a celebrity on Instagram thanks to her prodigious nose, which measures more than a foot in length. Strictly speaking, the length is not purely nasal, as it's actually mostly muzzle and jaw (with the actual wet nose on the tip not being exceptionally lengthy), but when seen from above, it's hard not to make a comparison to Pinocchio.
* Creator/AdamDriver would be unrecognizable without his really... special-looking nose.

* ''Series/{{Frasier}}'': In the episode "Roz and the Schnoz," Frasier plays host to a couple with ridiculously large noses who are ''completely unaware of it''-- and neither is anyone else. HilarityEnsues as Frasier's family tries to IgnoreTheDisability while the couple keeps unconsciously setting up [[IncrediblyLamePun nose-related puns]]: "Everyone who knows you knows you're the nosiest!"

* In ''ComicStrip/BabyBlues'' many jokes are made about Darryl's big nose. Oddly, though Wanda also has a big nose, hers is largely ignored.

* [[WesternAnimation/GravityFalls Gravity Falls]] has an art style that give several characters fairly long noses, but probably the ones that stand out the most are Stan and [[spoiler: by extension his identical twin brother Ford]], who both have droopy [[WesternAnimation/SpongeBobSquarepants Squidward]]-like noses, as well as [[CrazyHomelessPerson Old Man McGucket]], who has a long, banana-shaped nose.

* In the ''Series/MysteryScienceTheater3000'' episode "[[Film/FugitiveAlien Star Force: Fugitive Alien II]]," the Mads invent long, rubbery "big noses." Joel takes [[BigHeadMode a similar approach]] to the invention exchange.

* ''ComicBook/BouleEtBill'': Bill the cocker spaniel has a black bulbous nose.

** Hoo Boy Squidward. Where to even begin? To start off, he’s easily the [[Main/TropeCodifier Trope Codifier]] with his iconic, long, droopy, bulbous nose, which has been referenced multiple times on this very page. It has been the subject of several gags on the show. Fans have even took notice as there is a common theory that Squidward’s nose is [[spoiler: actually his penis]].
