* "Hamtaro": In the episode "Merry Christmas!", the Ham-Ham Gang are decorating their clubhouse for the holidays. Boss, Hamtaro, Dexter and Maxwell are about to put the star on top of the tree when suddenly, Boss accidentally rips one out onto the rest of the group's faces, which causes all of them to fall down from surprise.

* In ''VideoGame/PlantsVsZombies 2'', the Chili Bean plant gives zombies gas so potent, they actually ''fart themselves to death.'' The noxious cloud also paralyzes any zombies standing behind them in the row and does a small amount of damage to them.

* In Ozzy & Drix Hector eats a 12 bean salad that gives him major gas that he can't hold. He decides to relieve himself next to a compost pile until Christine pops up next to him and does a silent fart. They both agree to blame the stink on the compost with neither admitting to the other they farted. However, Christine does admit she cut the cheese to her friend, who tells her she shouldn't have eaten the 12 bean salad.

** It's taken over the top in the initial ''Brawl'' trailer where the fart [[EverythingMakesAMushroom creates a massive mushroom cloud]]. While not capable of creating such an impressive effect in-game, the Wario Waft is still by far Wario's strongest attack, though oddly, it's substantially ''less'' deadly at a full charge then it is anywhere between half charged and fully charged. It possesses a nearly unrivaled combination of speed and power, but with the catch that it takes nearly two minutes to charge up all the way.

They're not the only species to have such an attack--while not explicitly stated to be a "gas attack" [[{{Pun}} (groan)]], the Whirlwind move done by the Garu species does look a little… suspicious.
