Hello! I wonder why you clicked on my name? Did you like my cover image? Did you want to find out what I've done around here? Or did your finger slip? Well, either way, you've read this far so haha! You've walked right into my trap!

Here is a list of the trope pages and work pages I have created and launched. You'll also tend to see me hanging around the TLP and Forum Games; any trope you don't want anymore, I'll adopt it! (probably)

Tropes Started And Launched By Me

Tropes Adopted And Launched By Me

    Other Pages I Have Created
More coming soon...

    Tropes that apply to me...

  • Kindhearted Cat Lover: Cats are the best and I am also good, I think.
  • British Accents: That's me. Now you can read all my comments in a British accent!
  • Loony Friends Improve Your Personality: I used to be pretty quiet and secluded, and still am to some extent. But these guys have really helped me grow and I love 'em so much.
  • The Unwitting Comedian: I'm often told I have brutally honest humour even when I'm not trying to be. Or sometimes I am but act like I'm not.
  • Hates Being Called Cute: I'm... not a fan. My height doesn't help matters.
  • The Misophonic: I really, really hate repetitive noises.
  • Sir Swears-a-Lot: I do it without even noticing. It's for... emphasis!
  • Creepy Cave: A fun fact about caves is you never have to go in them.
  • Because You Were Nice to Me: I tend to go into this immediately whenever someone so much as holds open a door for me.
  • Rousseau Was Right: I agree with this to an extent; more research is required.
  • Obsessed with Food: For better or worse.
  • Enraged by Idiocy: In my house, all the time. Probably too much.
  • Psychology: I'm currently studying Psychology at university. I adore it.
  • Perfection Is Addictive: A few years ago, I wanted to have it all, so I worked so, so hard, harder than I have in my entire life, and mistook a genuine problem for perfection. And I hate that, sometimes, I look back on this and... romanticise it. Granted my grades skyrocketed and I became so confident. It felt perfect. But it wasn't. And part of me knew that, and sought help. It was a long uphill battle, but now I look back and I genuinely can't recognise myself at all. My brain was in the complete control of my illness. Not everyone will go through what I did, but there will be times when you go too far one way before you realise your sense of 'control' is not control at all.
  • Minor Insult Meltdown: I can get this sometimes, even if it wasn't really an insult. I guess I'm just easily hurt, but I try not to show it. But it's still there. I also sometimes tend to interpret which I see as a 'pattern' of insults as someone who just doesn't like me. I know it's probably not true, but the fear it is outweighs that logic.
  • You Are Better Than You Think You Are: I have trouble believing this myself. I need someone to tell me that I'm good or something because my own thoughts aren't enough. But then, even if I get it, the feeling doesn't go away. I don't know.
  • Berserk Button: Mine is people implying I'm stupid/me inferring such.
  • People Sit on Chairs: I'm a girl. That's it, that's the trope.
  • Neat Freak: Zig-zagged. I don't obsessively clean everyday, but on my cleaning day (Sunday) everything will be spotless. Also why you might see my cleaning up disambiguated links. Speaking of...
  • Obsessive Compulsive Disorder: ...Thank you TV Tropes for actually getting the definition right.

Just found I have accidentally deleted my quotes page. So... FUCK. Anyway, I will list them here, for I will NOT accidentally delete them here. Quotes from real people and fictional characters are separated. I hope they will make you think. Interpret them how you will. In the end, I think they are masterful in their language and the thoughts and emotions they evoke.

    Profound Real-life Quotes
  • "What a chimera then is man! What a novelty, what a monster, what a chaos, what a contradiction, what a prodigy! Judge of all things, feeble earthworm, repository of truth, sewer of uncertainty and error, the glory and the scum of the universe.- Blaise Pascal 1623-1662
  • Oliver Sacks 1933-2015
    • "If a man has lost a leg or an eye, he knows he has lost a leg or an eye; but if he has lost a self- himself- he cannot know it, because he is no longer there to know it".

    • "I cannot pretend I am without fear. But my predominant feeling is one of gratitude. I have loved and been loved; I have been given much and I have given something in return; I have read and traveled and thought and written. I have had an intercourse with the world, the special intercourse of writers and readers. Above all, I have been a sentient being, a thinking animal, on this beautiful planet, and that in itself has been an enormous privilege and adventure".

Vishnu is trying to persuade the Prince that he should do his duty, and to impress him, takes on his multi-armed form and says, 'Now I am become Death, the destroyer of worlds.' I suppose we all thought that, one way or another."- Robert Oppenheimer

  • Bessel van der Kolk
    • "As long as you keep secrets and suppress information, you are fundamentally at war with yourself…The critical issue is allowing yourself to know what you know. That takes an enormous amount of courage."
    • "We can hardly bear to look. The shadow may carry the best of the life we have not lived. Go into the basement, the attic, the refuse bin. Find gold there. Find an animal who has not been fed or watered. It is you!! This neglected, exiled animal, hungry for attention, is a part of your self."
  • "Fire can warm or consume, water can quench or drown, wind can caress or cut. And so it is with human relationships: we can both create and destroy, nurture and terrorize, traumatize and heal each other."- Bruce D. Perry
  • "The only normal people are the ones you don't know very well"- Alfred Adler
