On top of fanfiction he also contributed to the fandom in many notable ways. He was the one who used to host the Utena Fanfiction Repository.

* Let's Play-er LetsPlay/{{Chuggaaconroy}} is a VIP of the ''VideoGame/{{MOTHER}}'' series, ''Franchise/{{Pokemon}}'', ''VideoGame/{{Xenoblade|Chronicles1}} [[VideoGame/XenobladeChronicles2 Chronicles]]'', ''VideoGame/{{Okami}}'', and ''Franchise/TheLegendOfZelda'' all at once. He can be considered one for Nintendo in general.
** Chugga also has an unusually bilateral example of this in the case of WebAnimation/JaidenAnimations, as both content creators are subscribed to one another and follow each other on Twitter.

* ''WesternAnimation/MeetTheRobinsons'': Elena and Olivia Ceballos, twins behind the account "ELIOLI Art," are '''huge''' in the fandom, and it is guaranteed that you'll come across their copious amount of fanart for the movie.

** [=VTubing=] in general has a sort of class of these, the "clippers" - that is, those who take clips from streams and edit them into highlight collections for the audience's benefit. As this job often involves translating the Japanese [=VTubers=]' dialogue into English, it's considered an important part of the community, and successful clippers will be the source of many memes and introduce a lot of people to new [=VTubers=]. The first Vtuber Awards show, while obviously mostly focusing on Vtubers themselves, also had an award for "Best Clipper".
* [=SAD-ist=] is a fan animator known for her animatics for the ''WebVideo/DreamSMP''. Though she was already a relatively well-known animator in LetsPlay/{{Dream}}'s community (her previous animation being based on a clip from Dream's Minecraft Manhunt series), her popularity skyrocketed after her animatic of the L'Manburg War for Independence, "[[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NvgYhf2LnVI Dream SMP War]]".

** Other well-known people are the co-moderators of Equestria Daily, such as Cereal Velocity, Phoe, and Calpain. Authors are fairly well-known too, such as Kkat, the author of the ([[{{Doorstopper}} literally)]] epic-length fanfic, ''Fanfic/FalloutEquestria.''

* [[Platform/DeviantArt DeviantArtist]] [=JustinandDennis=] (J&D) is well-known amongst the members of the small-but-dedicated ''WesternAnimation/PBAndJOtter'' fandom. He is responsible for creating several fan characters/[=OCs=] and has even created some of the show's {{Fanon}} such as backstories, and also wrote some TransformationFiction for the series (who's human characters/"[=TF=] victims" would later become [[AscendedExtra Ascended Extras]] in his original work). He is also active in other fandoms such as the ''WesternAnimation/BlazingDragons'' and ''VideoGame/{{Rayman}}'' fandoms.

** Kerron Stark has been an avid Barney fan since childhood and did amateur performances of the character in his teens. He is very active in the fanbase as he is a moderator-turned-admin in Barney History Fans and stars in his own show, ''Series/MisterKsClubhouse''.

* Captain Osaka on Website/DeviantArt to the ''Anime/TengenToppaGurrenLagann'' fandom. Gained a massive reputation for producing the ''Webcomic/DoubleK'' comic, which is the ''Gurren Lagann'' cast thrown into a BuddyCopShow.

* ''WesternAnimation/RubyGillmanTeenageKraken'': D001, also known as Ruby Gillman Fanboy, managed to gain this status before the movie even came out. Thanks to his continuous posting of the movie on various websites (Twitter, Discord, and Website/YouTube), he shared any regional advertisements and behind-the-scenes documentation he could find for the film. This includes several that were never shared by any official United States-based [=DreamWorks=] or Universal accounts. Some people have pointed out that [[InvisibleAdvertising he did more of a job at advertising the movie than [=DreamWorks=] themselves]]. This was further proved by the official [=DreamWorks=] account actually [[https://twitter.com/dreamworks/status/1674169036068777986?s=61&t=UbPFNyGVSwKa783C24MF1Q making a tweet]] thanking him for tweeting about the movie.

** At least among the Marauders Era fanbase, FanFic/TheShoeboxProject is often accepted as the definitive fanfiction for the four friends. The writers, Website/LiveJournal users ladyjaida and dorkorific are respected and revered among the fandom.

** Finally, there are Creator/BillAndDoug (AKA [=RVDTito4Life=] of Website/YouTube fame, and rival of Kent Jones), who were hired by Wrestling/{{TNA}} to become the hosts of the online show, ''TNA Addicts.''

His videos have become ubiquitous in the community that reactions to new features often elicit calls of excitement towards his videos on the subject.

** "Megafan" Kimberly Miranda aka [[http://isaia.deviantart.com Isaia,]] one of the very first ''Avatar'' fan artists on Website/DeviantArt. Her account now has over a million views and her artwork is often shown in magazines for the show. Her [[http://www.deviantart.com/deviation/39867827/ "It's Avatarded"]] satire comics are responsible for the {{Fan Community Nickname|s}}.

* Most ''WesternAnimation/DannyPhantom'' fans are aware of [=NeoYi=]. What most people know her for is her excellent fan comic ''[[http://neoyi.deviantart.com Chess Piece]]'' but really, it's nearly impossible to explore the fandom (specifically on Website/DeviantArt) without learning about her eventually. Others include Firefury Amahira, Tavalya Ra, The Alchemist's Muse and Esme Phantom, all of which are very well known around the community.

* ''WesternAnimation/KaBlam'' fans most likely will know Princess June (AKA [=Kablamoid96=] or June the [=KaBlamoid=]), who created the most music videos on Website/YouTube for the show, a fanfic writer, a fanart artist, and [[http://s1.zetaboards.com/The_KaBlam_Forum/index/ created the first message board for the show.]] She's one of the reasons why the cult following is getting bigger. Not to mention she knows Mo Willems, the creator of ''The Off-Beats.''

* [[Website/DeviantArt Deviantartists]] [[http://djcoulzanimalsonly.deviantart.com/gallery/ DJCoulz]] and [[http://dj88.deviantart.com/gallery/8276851 DJ88]] are well known across WesternAnimation/{{The Lion King|1994}} fandom for pioneering many of the most popular ideas across the fandom. The former's version of Ahadi and Uru (Mufasa and Scar's parents) has been copied by nearly every other fan. The latter is most famous for giving Zira an abusive father and giving characters from a series of books and comics more vibrant "movie" colors. They're some of the best artists in the fandom.

* Website/{{YouTube}}r [=McKenzie Atwood=] (better known as [[https://www.youtube.com/user/MightBeMaybeME MKatwood]]) has done many things for the ''WesternAnimation/StevenUniverse'' fandom. She's the creator of many meme compilation videos of the show, including [[https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLJNl_1SWSSQaS2vXLC1ro73iUO6HPrSFz Pearl's Secret Rap Career.]] The last installment of the series features Pearl's voice actress Deedee Magno-Hall, and has been acknowledged by Michaela Dietz (Amethyst) and Shelby Rabara (Peridot). She is friends with Deedee Magno-Hall and Zach Callison (Steven), and later became an intern at Cartoon Network before becoming host of the show's official podcast.

It has millions of views on several videos showcasing it, and is popular enough to be confused with the base game - occasionally, ol666 has been incorrectly credited for Project Arrhythmia itself.

* ''VideoGame/ProjectArrhythmia'': ol666, the creator of the ''VideoGame/BlackHeart'' series of custom levels. It has millions of views on several videos showcasing it, and is popular enough to be confused with the base game - occasionally, ol666 has been incorrectly credited for Project Arrhythmia itself.

** ''VideoGame/{{Portal}}'' also has Waffles, or Waffleguppies, author of the famous fanfic ''Fanfic/{{Blue Sky}}'', a super-popular work that has its own trope page and a dedicated circle of fans.

** HENDRIX, originally known as Dinosaur Man, is a highly influential figure who has become known for his programming and scripting in recent years, though he was initially known as simply being a particularly talented designer. He was one of the pioneers of using Blender to create new models and later animations for the game, and created not only multiple popular solo project releases, but an entire user expansion in his own, as well as being a pivotal figure in both the ''Radical Remake'' and ''Cretaceous Calamity'' user projects. He later made a script to generate Zoo Tycoon 2 models as Zoo Tycoon 1 animals, and after fifteen years, created the long-desired script to allow importing edited models into ''VideoGame/JurassicParkOperationGenesis''.

* Tyler "Tyler1" Steinkamp's rise to popularity through ''VideoGame/LeagueOfLegends'' is considered the stuff of legend. Originally he gained infamy as [[https://www.polygon.com/2017/1/10/14179366/league-of-legends-riot-ban-tyler1 "The Most Toxic League Of Legends Player in America"]] due to his rampant griefing and poor sportsmanship, leading him to be permanently banned through ''22'' different accounts, with Riot Games [[PersonaNonGrata permanently banning Tyler himself from the game]] by early 2016. However, after a long campaign to dispute his ban and a few years of [[TookALevelInKindness mellowing out and becoming more cooperative while streaming other games]], Riot eventually rescinded his ban on grounds of good behavior in 2018 (even several of his harshest critics at Riot, including LCS caster David "Phreak" Turley, welcomed him back). ** Rants, the admin of the TGWTG secrets blog has been making a name for himself. His popularity varies from person to person however.

** More recently joining the ranks is voice actor Creator/VicMignogna, who guest-starred and -directed in ''New Voyages'' and [[TheKnightsWhoSaySquee squee'd]] about it during his guest appearances at anime cons. And now he's doing his own series, ''WebVideo/StarTrekContinues.''

If a person in-universe is a member of a real fandom, that's FictionalFanRealCelebrity. Can cause them to become a PromotedFanboy. [[JustForFun/IThoughtItMeant Not to be confused]] with HighClassFan, which refers to a hand fan used to indicate a character's high status or wealth.

** Ian Miller is known as the idol of purists everywhere for doing ''in-depth research'' about [[SpellMyNameWithAnS what the canon terminology is supposed to be]]. Oh, and having a thing for collecting fanart of Hotaru in a bikini.
