** Think about it this way: The zombies rule the world in the Far Future, right? A notable number of them are still obsessed with disco, so if most of the world's population was zombies, the disco niche would expand in size to the point of becoming popular again.

* Why do the plants protect you from the zombies, instead of leaving you to your fate? Most plants in the game attack by shooting their seeds or spores at the zombies. Therefore, they're turning the zombies into fertilizer to grow more plants. Furthermore, if the zombies are [[{{Plague Zombie}} reanimated via a plague]], a virus that affects people wouldn't affect plants as they belong to an entirely different taxonomic kingdom, making them safe from any infection.

* Other games in the series show that the zombies' crazy technology isn't a one-off thing. Besides time travel, they also have dimensional travel, a magnet that can drag the moon into causing a permanent eclipse, or a device that gives entities superpowers. This makes them potentially far more deadly than most other zombies in media, if not for most of their forces being dumber than bricks.

* The plants' genders are sometimes confused, with a male plant referred to with 'she' or a plant referred to as female but has an Almanac entry that uses 'he'(not to mention some entries just use 'they' or just [[ItIsDehumanizing 'it']]). But a lot of plants have flowers that contain both or either male or female parts, and with multiple flowers per plant those flowers could contain any combination of such organs. With many such combos it is not hard to misidentify the plant's gender.

** The Digger Zombie spins as he resurfaces and the Prospector spins as he jumps over your lines; they could have gotten disoriented in the process and lost track of which way they were supposed to go. By contrast, the Ski Zombie keeps facing the same way the entire jump.

* When Jester reflects projectiles, he throws them straight forward in his lane. When Hammer and Nunchaku deflect projectiles, they send it right back where it came, even if it came at them at a different angle. Since Jester uses CatchAndReturn, he obviously has much greater control over where he sends it back, and he decides to throw it straight forward. But Hammer and Nunchaku use SpinToDeflectStuff instead, which means they can only really hit the projectile back to where it came with no greater control.

* The [=ZCorp=] zombie lineup reverses Gargantuar and Imp's traditional roles; the Head Office Impgantuar is a massive Imp that smashes plants and throws a Gargimp Legal, the latter of whom is a smaller Gargantuar. However, the Impgantuar has less health than other Gargantuars, while the Gargimp has more health than other Imps. Of course they do! Impgantuar's body and limbs are still smaller and lankier than those of his counterparts, while Gargimp has a sturdier, more muscular body compared to his!
