* When Erma finds Rin, she says her family "shouldn't be" worried about her. Then she says she always envied Emiko for "[taking] her own life". She vents about how miserable she's been, and all but states she doesn't consider her relatives to actually be family. When she returns, she tells her sisters she "didn't want to ever be found". All this raises a disturbing question: is this just typical self-loathing, or was she thinking about [[DrivenToSuicide killing herself]]? Would she have done it if Erma hadn't found her when she did?

** Unfortunately, this actually happened. Not with Erma, though, but with Mitsu and Momo. [[NothingIsScarier We never find out what the twins actually did to the kids who were bullying them and the teacher who let it happen, but it can’t have been good.]]

* Mitsu and Momo's personalities make more sense once it's revealed they are Zashiki Warashi. For those who don't know, they are supposedly house spirits that blesses the residence they're staying in with good luck. This means that whatever house they end up in, the people inside it are gonna trap them in for a long long time and they're attitude is most likely them acting like brats because their lives are gonna be hell for a long time.

** In an interview with their uncle Sam, they do bring this up, but they act more annoyed about it than anything (though the main question is now if ''their DisappearedDad'' was someone similar.

** Another thing to consider is [[spoiler:how would Connor feel when he finds out that Erma, the girl he crushes on, is the ''reason'' his older sister is a deranged mess?]]

** It could also explain the real reason Erma changed the channel in Felicia's presence. [[spoiler: She must've thought the slasher film she made it look like she was watching looked tamer by comparison.]]

* "Sleep Floating" seems like just a mix of funny and heartwarming... but when Erma passed through a plane in flight, she terrified the pilots. And when it's seen from behind after it passes her, it looks like it's going at a downward angle. Did Erma unintentionally cause a plane crash?

** [[spoiler:The old babysitter]] would have to deal with the sheer wrath of two ''very'' upset parents, too. One is a ghost girl that is, most likely, even more powerful than Erma, being older and wiser, and the other is just human... but an angry parent, supernatural or not, is ''not'' someone you want to mess with.

* Why is Erma terrified by Santa? Christmas is widely considered the polar opposite of Halloween (Scary vs. Heavenly) and modern day Christmas (which is what '''Santa Claus''' usually represents) is believed to destroy the spiritual and religious aspects of the holiday in favor of commercialism. To Erma, Santa is a hateful, greedy madman who destroys religious beliefs and "kills" (in a sense) things "scary" such as poor Erma. This could also explain why Erma is calm and happy when confronting Krampus, Krampus is a icon designed to be scary (much like [[StringyHairedGhostGirl what Erma basically is]]), granted this is quite obvious if you know Erma, but Krampus also still (mostly) retains its original spiritual heritage, so unlike Santa which is commercialized to death, Krampus is still an ancient monster that doesn't destroy the spiritual aspect of the holiday.

** It's possible the babysitter just didn't take it well due to unfamiliarity with Erma, like not being told about (or not believing) her being a ghost girl. Alternatively, she was already unhinged to begin with, or Erma dialed it up for her for whatever reason.

* I know this sounds weird, but considering what happened with the grouchy old lady in the Treat-or-Treat Arc, imagine what would happen Erma were to, say, play a prank on someone's or her own grandparent, and end up scaring the to death. Sure, that grouchy mean old lady kind of had it coming, but poor kid would be traumatized discovering that she '''accidentally murdered an innocent person!'''
