In a small town, there's a local legend that a family of witches and wizards were killed at the turn of the last century. When they were buried, their evil escaped and possessed a scarecrow hanging in a nearby cornfield. Now, every fifteen years, the scarecrow reawakens to exact bloody revenge.
In the present, the local bartender Josephine (Racquel Viilo) is telling the story to a group of people who've come to town to do some camping up in the woods... where the cemetery, and the scarecrow, are said to be located. They of course dismiss it as just a legend and head out.
All this caught the attention of a couple of locals, Virgil (Jay J. Bidwell) and Wyatt (Pete Houlihan), who decide to have some fun by dressing up as the scarecrow, going up into the woods, and scare those campers right out of their socks.
Of course, things get complicated when the actual scarecrow comes into the picture.
The film was released on October 19th, 2017.
