** Tropers/ILikeRobots: Seconded. The entire climax of the film boils down to "Every hero not named Superman just wastes Steppenwolf's time until Superman gets there and effortlessly kicks Steppenwolf's ass." Superman turns into a GodModeSue, destroys the tension in the scene and ruins the hype Steppenwolf had up until this point. It's supposed to be an awesome moment, but instead it's an unsatisfying AntiClimax. Not to mention, it raises the awkward question of why the rest of the League even needs to exist if Superman is this powerful. Wasn't the League formed to combat threats too big to handle for a single hero, even Superman? Here's hoping that the rebooted live action universe does the League right.

Talking To Himself is dewicked

* cricri3007: The scene where Superman confront Batman for the first time by letting the Batmobile bounce off him is extremely cool... if you're not watching the French version of the film, because Adrien Antoine (Superman's dubber) is the same guy who dubbed Batman in everything but the Nolan films for the past twelve years. Rarely has there ever been a weirder instance of TalkingToHimself that completely broke the immersion. Even worse since the dubbers could have easily been switched without it being weird.

Too forced, Harley being rude is common in various adaptations, even if she comes from a series where she couldn't be rude.

* cheedo: Harley calling Deadshot a pussy. Not only did it add a layer of unnecessary tastelessness to an already slightly sleevy movie, it was a completely OOC moment for someone who was fairly childlike and kid friendly in the cartoon (a few sexy scenes aside). I can't ever imagine someone like Harley talking that way (and don't appreciate even more misogyny in the movie I really wanted to love).

While the DC Extended Universe does have its fair share of criticism, it still managed to successfully introduce the DC superheroes to a new generation of fans. Howevery, a long-term franchise like this is bound to have a few plot points that are they the universe will never live up to its idols.

Please pick one moment among them that pissed you off the most

* dbdude01: The years that followed the theatrical release of ''Justice League'' set up the release of the Snyder cut to be a long Moment of Suck. News of the TroubledProduction gave disappointed fans a window to believe that Joss Whedon was responsible for the disappointment and Zack Snyder’s version would have been excellent (never mind how disappointed those same fans were with what Snyder did with ''Film/BatmanVSupermanDawnOfJustice''). This belief was further fueled by revelations of what a terrible person Joss Whedon is in RealLife, and Zack Snyder’s statements that the theatrical version was unrecognizable to him and that his version was completely different. When the Snyder cut was finally released, the audience got . . . the exact same movie, just longer. Most of the differences weren’t relevant to the plot, and some of them made the movie worse:
** Aquaman’s extra scenes just gave more exposition about Atlantis and Arthur’s past that ultimately got retconned in his solo movie. God only knows why Snyder thought Mera needed a British accent.
** Cyborg’s extra scenes set up his abilities as StoryBreakerPower, which actually take away his potential to be an interesting character.
** Diana’s objection to using the Mother Box to revive Superman wasn’t in the Snyder cut. ''Film/WonderWoman1984'' showed that Diana once tried to use a device built by an evil god to bring back someone whose death she felt guilty about, so her having a problem with Bruce doing the same thing in the theatrical version is more consistent.
** In the theatrical version Batman had Lois Lane on standby in case Superman CameBackWrong, in the Snyder cut, she just randomly showed up when he was fighting the other heroes. Bruce Wayne having Lois on standby is more consistent with his usual portrayal as CrazyPrepared. Also, using Lois to reach Superman’s humanity is consistent with this version’s CharacterDevelopment and shows that he heeded Future-Barry’s warning.
** The Snyder cut reveals that Swanwick was [[CanonCharacterAllAlong Martian Manhunter]], and at the end he lets Bruce know that he was aware of what was happening throughout the entire film, and says it’s time for him to stop sitting on the sidelines. Really? The fact that parademons can be killed by ordinary bullets means that the U.S. Army could have been very helpful to the Justice League. If he wasn’t willing to help as a superhero, he could have gotten involved as Defense Secretary. Instead he did nothing in either capacity and let the Justice League handle the problem, even though Steppenwolf had them on the ropes until Superman showed up at the last minute. And now that the threat is over he wants to get off the sidelines. To quote [[Characters/MCUTheHulk Bruce Banner]]: “Screw you, you big green asshole.”
** WordOfGod says that Snyder was planning sequels in which the Justice League would fail to stop Darkseid and use time travel to undo the decimation. So not only is the DCEU trying (and failing) to copy the [[Franchise/MarvelCinematicUniverse MCU]]’s box office success, they’re blatantly ripping off the MCU’s storylines.

* Tropers/{{Retloclive}}: The sex scene. Diana and Steve have sex despite the fact that it's not actually Steve. It's another man that Steve ended up taking control of. The sad thing is that these two characters are supposed to be are heroes, yet they don't ever realize what they're doing with another man's body. How this went unnoticed when the script was written is just bonkers. This dude was raped.

* Retloclive: Lois Lane being brought aboard General Zod's ship is a major travesty in the script-writing since there's no justifiable reason, or even the slightest hint, as to why Lois needed to be there. She didn't have anything that the enemy needed. She wasn't doing any reporting for her job. She wasn't even being used as a hostage to Superman. Lois was there just because she happened to be the well-known character known as Lois Lane.

* Retloclive: The very last second of the movie [[spoiler:where the dirt begins to rise on Superman's grave to imply that Superman will return one day]]. Way to chicken out on one of the only risks that the movie was willing to take, which also happened to destroy any possible emotional impact that was a result of said risk.

* Retloclive: June Moone, who's supposed to be an archaeologist, seems to forget how to take care of newly discovered artifacts, and ends up breaking the Enchantress possession statue while it's in her hands. Worst, and stupidest, case of NiceJobBreakingItHero I've ever seen in my life.

* Tropers/Kevjro7: Wonder Woman and Steve are in the middle of a desert with a taxi driver, and Wonder Woman asks to buy the car. Requesting to buy the taxi isn't what's stupid, no. What's stupid is that the driver actually agrees to the sale, even though doing means he has no way of getting back home. No intelligent person would ever agree to this transaction in the middle of a desert, no matter how much money they were offered.

* Tropers/TheMasterChand: Diana's speech to the Audience/World/Max Lord. It can basically be summed up as, "HardWorkFallacy = truth, wanting change because your life sucks = bad". This would have been cringe, at best, even before 2020. Coming in at the end of 2020, and it's basically a big middle finger to every non-rich person in the US, if not the World.

* Dr.XXX: So let me get this straight. Steppenwolf, the BigBad of the movie, had an entire backstory where Amazons, Atlanteans, humans, and the Green Lantern Corps forced him to retreat. This is not the damning moment. It's actually good. It's the climax of the movie that is just bad. Superman saves everyone by defeating Steppenwolf who promptly is DraggedOffToHell to face Darkseid. Point one, having Superman do the bulk of the work while the rest of the league does nothing cheapens the good scene in the film. Point two, it makes the League look incompetent and useless, something you want to avoid in this film. Point three, this ruins the power balance of the entire universe by making everyone from Earth and even the aliens look weak compared to a Kryptonian. Wow.
