Thomas Vinterberg (born 19 May 1969) is a Danish director and screenwriter. He is an occasional collaborator of fellow Danish director Creator/LarsVonTrier, with whom he started the UsefulNotes/Dogme95 film movement. Vinterberg has, however, also frequently ventured outside the art-house scene, having made plenty of more mainstream drama and {{dramedy}} films which have seen critical acclaim and commercial success, both in his native Denmark and internationally.
