* AdaptationRelationshipOverhaul: In the comics, Maw was TheStarscream and a ManipulativeBastard who sought to betray his fellow Black Order members and Thanos himself in order to take control over his empire. Here, Maw is [[TheCreon completely subservient to his adopted father]], and the only sibling he shows outright hostility to is [[TheUnfavorite Nebula]], and even then it's for the justifiable reason that he presumed she was going to betray Thanos soon in the future.

* TheDreaded: Heavily implied to be this. After the Avengers and S.H.I.E.L.D. succeed in destroying their small invasion force, the Other becomes 100% convinced that ''no-one'' can challenge Earth's might -- even his boss, the "most powerful being in the universe." [[BloodKnight Said boss]] relishes the challenge. However, in a DeletedScene for ''Endgame'' Rocket claims that the Chitauri are known as "the suckiest army in the galaxy" who can easily be defeated by blowing up the mothership.

* StrongAsTheyNeedToBe: They go from owning the Avengers heavyweights like Wanda and Vision to fighting evenly or even losing to Captain America and Black Widow. Zigzagged trope: they use sneak attacks and off-handed tactics vs. the heavyweights and are gaining the upper hand as a result, while the inverse happens for the lower-tier heroes where Captain America, Black Widow, and Falcon do the same ''to them'' and they are caught off-guard as a result.

* StrongAsTheyNeedToBe: Even the plot itself doesn't seem to decide if Corvus is too strong or too weak.

* MadeOfIron: Gets punched by Vision hard enough to crack a wall behind him and then tossed about 20 feet away. Doesn't stop him. Neither does getting blasted by Wanda, tackled off a skyscraper by Vision, or punched repeatedly by Captain America. Getting impaled with Proxima's weapon by Black Widow ''does'' cripple him to the point that he can't fight anymore, but by the time the plot's moved on to Wakanda (mere hours later at most), he's perfectly fine and has no trouble continuing the battle.

Amazonian Beauty should not be used as a descriptor for any muscular female character. This trope is for muscular female character being portrayed as attractive.

* TinyGuyHugeGirl: Corvus can tower and loom over most of the human characters in the film, but is noticeably skinnier when compared to his more [[AmazonianBeauty heavily muscled]] partner, Proxima.

Added DiffLines:

* AdaptationalComicRelief: This Korath is much more excitable and goofy compared to his stoic, villainous Sacred Timeline counterpart. In particular, his squeeing of getting to work with his hero Star-Lord is pretty chuckleworthy.

Added DiffLines:

* AdaptationalRelationshipOverhaul:
** In the Sacred Timeline, Korath was completely loyal to Ronan the Accuser up till the very end of his life. Here, he admits to not caring much for his boss, and is quick to defect to the Ravagers upon meeting and being defeated by T'Challa.
** Korath is also shown to be a huge fan of Star-Lord here, compared to how his Sacred Timeline counterpart had never even heard the name before when meeting Quill under similar circumstances.

Added DiffLines:

* InSpiteOfANail: Korath is shown to still be seeking the Orb on behalf of Ronan the Accuser just like in ''[[Film/GuardiansOfTheGalaxy Film/GuardiansOfTheGalaxy2014]]'', though it doesn't take long for his path to deviate here.

Added DiffLines:

* DiesDifferentlyInTheAdaptation: As mentioned above, he's turned into a zombie and subsequently eaten by the Wasp's ant swarms, rather than being sucked out into space or ReducedToDust by Iron Man.

Added DiffLines:

* DiesDifferentlyInTheAdaptation: Rather than being crushed by Giant-Man or disintegrated by a Wakandan forcefield, this Cull Obsidian is turned into a zombie and subsequently EatenAlive by the Wasp's ants.

They are not fought in order of strength, so this trope does not apply.

* SortingAlgorithmOfEvil: They're more dangerous than other underlings seen in previous movies. Each one of them is capable of fighting multiple heroes at the same time and comes very close to killing them, only thwarted a combination of their own arrogance and outside interference.

* StrongAsTheyNeedToBe: They go from owning the Avengers heavyweights like Wanda and Vision to fighting evenly or even losing to Captain America and Black Widow. Zigzagged trope: they use sneak attacks and off-handed tactics vs. the heavyweights and are gaining the upperhand as a result, while the inverse happens for the lower-tier heroes where Captain America, Black Widow, and Falcon do the same ''to them'' and they are caught off-guard as a result.
