* AnAxeToGrind: The Blinding Light of Destiny. Though he isn't seen using it until Book 3.

** In Book 3, he reacquires his [[AnAxeToGrind Blinding Light of Destiny]], becoming yet even more powerful. While he does have fewer skills, the ones he now has are devastatingly powerful. His default attack does 200% damage (215% damage against Undead), his [[FinishingMove Purify]] which is an upgraded version of his old "Ultimate Light Combo Attack!" which does 5 hits of 100% damage each (for total 500% damage), and [[HealingHands Restoring Light]] which full heals Artix.

* WeaponOfChoice: [[AnAxeToGrind Axes.]] He seems to have taken a liking to the weapon ever since he found himself fighting through the forest to save Vayle and flee his village with the hatchet he was using to chop wood.
** After losing his Blinding Light of Destiny, however, he takes to wielding a [[HeroesPreferSwords sword]] (the Warrior class' [[StarterEquipment Default Sword]].)
** He is once again seen with his trademark axe in Book 3.

* WeaponOfChoice: A Scimitar in Book 1, and a Flame-bladed sword in Book 3.

* MagicStaff: His WeaponOfChoice.

* BladeOnAStick: His WeaponOfChoice.

* ShesGotLegs: More apparent in Book 1 where she wore a skirt, but still present in Book 3 as she wears pants that still reveal her legs at the top.

* HunterOfMonsters: Comes from a long line of them. Also gives out the Shadow Hunter Armor. Being a monster hunter puts at odds with [[AdventurerArchaeologist Valencia]], who would rather preserve [[AncientArtifact artifacts]] while Symone would rather destroy them at risk of them being an ArtifactOfDoom.

** This view was tarnished after Book 2, and the Alexander Saga, though. Both in- and out-of-universe. After all, ''someone'' destroyed his magic tent in the Elemental Foothills.

* SupernaturalIsPurple: Warlic is indeed very special as the HalfHumanHybrid son of a human woman [[spoiler:and an Infernal, a demon race with incredible power and a natural affinity for Fire, which he has inherited]], and he somehow possess the unique trait of gaining mana instead of running out of it. * HeroicNeutral: Initially wants to be left alone, but since the Hero and the Ateala need his help, and his [[PsychicLink connected]] to Wargoth...

* AdultFear: As a child she saw all of her people vanish in one fell swoop. Because she didn't know any better at the time, she believed that they'd all been killed, and that she was the only one left of her kind. Later, during the Water Orb Saga, she finds out from Davy and the Hero the truth behind her people's disappearance and blames herself for what happened because she'd played with the Water Orb when she was ordered not to.

He's also one of the most active heroes alongside the player character, appearing in more quest chains than any other NPC. Not to mention he is a pivotal character in every one of the games by Creator/ArtixEntertainment.

* BigGood: Serves this role alongside Artix and Lady Celestia. He is tasked with maintaining the elemental order, and is one of the most important allies.

* ArchNemesis: Has the most personal connection to Gorgok.

* ArchNemesis: To Saellah, who she holds a personal grudege against for attempting a genocide on the dragons.

* ArchNemesis: To Baron Valtrith, who she has dedicated her life to hunting down.
