''Chōjūshin (Super-Heavy God) Gravion'' is a 13-episode SuperRobot series directed by Creator/MasamiObari and released in 2002 by {{Creator/GONZO}}. Think ''Anime/GaoGaiGar'' loaded with [[{{Meido}} maids]] instead of HotBlooded [[Franchise/{{Transformers}} Autobot]] {{Exp|y}}ies, while the titular robot follows the CombiningMecha formula with FiveManBand, which has been perfected with the likes of ''Anime/CombattlerV'' and ''Anime/VoltesV'' (and with more ladies too, there's only two male pilots).

[[WarWasBeginning The Earth's about to come under attack]] by an alien race called the Zeravire. However, a mysterious billionaire named Klein Sandman has prepared for the invasion with God Gravion, a [[SuperRobotGenre Super Robot]] that uses the power of gravity to fight. The protagonist is Eiji Shigure, a young man who infiltrates Sandman's St. Germain Castle in search of his missing older sister Ayaka, and is recruited as part of the Gran Knights. The story is given a different slant: although Eiji is the main character, he's effectively TheLancer of this particular Six Man Band, piloting the G-Attacker, the God Gravion's right leg, rather than being the main pilot.

Per this thread, Boobs Of Steel is no longer a trope.

* BoobsOfSteel: The bustiest maid in the series is Cookie, who is shown to have super strength and is head of the security division. The bustiest female member of the grand knights, by a wide margin is Mizuki, who is the only female grand knight shown to be proficient in any hand to hand combat.

Trope is now Definition Only

* OffModel: Tragically there are quite a few, mostly involving Touga's face or Mizuki's boobs.

* SortingAlgorithmOfEvil: Mostly invoked in the first season and justified accordingly - The Zeravire was constantly learning and evolving, so the subsequent MonsterOfTheWeek adapts to the previous weapons Gravion had used to finish off its predecessors. It evolved to the point that when the final opponent of the first season was sent to Earth, it did not bother to attack anything else but ominously settled down, clearly waiting for Gravion's arrival since it was designed purely to counter all of Gravion's attacks. All except for the ultimate weapon White Steel Fang, which Sandman had yet to reveal at that point in time. This continued into the second season Zwei, where the Zeravire eventually evolved until even the [[SoLastSeason White Steel Fang]] struggled to beat them.

Absolute Cleavage was renamed Navel Deep Neckline. Removing examples that don't fit the trope.

* AbsoluteCleavage: Mizuki. All but one of her outfits reveal a [[BoobsOfSteel copious amounts of cleavage]], and [[http://img13.imageshack.us/img13/3881/65603685.jpg the fact that she has a lot to show]] helps.

The trope is Necessarily Evil.

** NecessaryEvil: [[spoiler:Mizuki knows that betraying the Gran Knights was not a moral act and she came prepared with the Knights not forgiving her. But she didn't regret her actions, considering that leaking information to the government enabled them to catch up with the Gran Knights technology-wise and be of help during the battle against Zeravire.]]

* {{Foreshadowing}}: During the ping-pong table, Mizuki picked up her partner, Alex, a member of the EFA, out of random pick in a lobby, and they got along really great. [[spoiler:They wouldn't be as such, if Mizuki wasn't a spy from Alex's side.]]

* {{Foreshadowing}}: The fact that [[spoiler:Mizuki is an EFA spy]] has been given some hints within the series before the reveal, although [[RewatchBonus it may take some rewatches to notice]]:
** In the final episode of season 1, there are several:
*** When the EFA's newest weapon after researching got destroyed, somehow Mizuki felt extra down, though she dismissed it as working overnight. [[spoiler:Of course she would feel that way because the Zeravire just crushed her hard work on leaking information to the EFA in instant.]]
*** After the Zeravire is defeated, the President namedropped a certain "Lt. Tachibana". [[spoiler:This refers to Mizuki, whose last name is Tachibana, not just some random same-named agent.]]
*** And likewise, Mizuki also sported a rather sorrowful face despite the joyous celebration on beating that 'final' Zeravire. [[spoiler:This is because she's about to begin her phase of BecomingTheMask, genuinely caring for her fellow pilots, but being torn with her old duty as a spy.]]
