During their time travel segment, Kofi temporarily goes back to his original Jamaican gimmick, complete with theme music, and screams out "2009 was my best year!" when pulled back by Xavier. 2009 was the year of what was arguably Kofi's biggest push as a singles competitor (at least until 2019) with his feud against Randy Orton and Boom Dropping him in Madison Square Garden. It was also the year he would slightly tweak his Jamaican persona by ditching the accent (which Triple H noticed) and retooling it into a homage to Jamaican culture.
