This fanfic is only a fanfic in the sense that it drops a bunch of original characters into the universe of District 9 to play around in. And to this effect, there are characters from both aliens and humans that make up the cast of this fic. What could have been a terrible Sue-fic, however, is instead a fiction that has engaging, interesting, and very likeable characters behaving like real people. This is quite a feat considering that the decently sized cast consists of only one canon character at the current time. As well, the quality of the writing is such that it could be published fiction. As of the time of this writing, not a whole lot has gone on plot wise, but I would keep an eye on it as she can take it anywhere at this point in time...
