...Is Needle still considered a Scrappy Weapon? At the very least, Crystal Needle seems to be able to aim their stars quite nicely, only struggling against fast-moving erratic targets (such as Meta Knight), and it moves pretty fast because of its midair Roling attack. And 7:20 seems a decent time for the last boss rush. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CBLugBeMWD4

Playing through the game myself, and while I don't know if I can say this about their early stages, Needle and Tornado's highest tiers are not bad abilities at all, and I'd probably stop just short of calling them broken. Their basic attacks aren't that strong, but they have a lot of mobility to make up for it and Crystal Needle's collected projectiles are pretty accurate and Storm Tornado's actually seem to home in. You can use them to shred any boss that drops a good number of ammo stars in seconds, including all of the final boss' forms, so I'd say that at worst, they're more situational than bad.

I'm wondering if the final boss could qualify as a "Complete Monster"?

CM entries must be approved by CM cleanup which decided against them as Elfilin being it's split off morality made its agency too debatable.

Examples of Base-Breaking Character must be at least 6 months old to qualify. We will have to wait until six months after the recent Nintendo Direct to see what fans think of her then, but right now, I think there is ample evidence to support Clawroline being an example:

  • Base-Breaking Character: Clawroline became a controversial character almost immediately after her brief reveal in the February 9, 2021 Nintendo Direct (and her name and official render were revealed shortly after.) Due to being a leopard with an Impossible Hourglass Figure, the furry fandom immediately latched onto her, and sexualized fanart popped up within minutes of her reveal. Detractors were disappointed with Clawroline's exaggerated hourglass figure that felt out of place in a Kirby game, with some people even calling her design "bad" or "ugly." Yet more fans argue that she's supposed to look out of place because the whole point of the game is that Kirby is in a new world with unfamiliar inhabitants. There is also a small portion of fans that find her cute in a non-sexual way.
