I know this is fairly obscure as a work, but should The Bog King and Marianne falling in love be under spoilers? Many of the other edits don't.

I guess I'd argue that it should, given that the trailers don't mention this, it takes most of the film for it to happen and most of the reviews seemed pretty surprised at this.

The argument against it would be that its probably the most interesting part of the film and therefore most mentioned on this wiki. Its pretty awkward to spoiler most mentions of it under the trope pages.

Seems like it'd be suited for spoiler tagging.

Alright thanks, didn't want to start bucking the trend without some discussion.

Is there any tropes for how Marianne and Dawns dad seems to be a racist/ lil bit sexist ineffectual douche. I mean he presses his daughter to reconsider a relationship with a man that has clearly hurt her deeply, and takes said guys side over hers. So the guy obviously cares more about his daughter being with a "suitable" suitor than her actually happiness and well being. And then there's his reaction to Dawn and Sunny is basically "Oh god my daughter is dating a social/racial class below us, I am shamed forever!" *faint* Seriously there's got to be some tropes for that

Might want to ask in the Trope Finder.
