I was thinking of putting another Aesop. In the original timeline, Cartman went from a hateful, anti-Semitic jackass to a good person and a family man, not to mention he sacrificed his happy ending so that everyone else could have their own. So maybe the Aesop is that people can change for the better, and someone like Cartman is capable of redemption.
