Just so you know, some tropes will be moved to the charcacter page. Others will be deleted because they are already in the character page, so no tropes are really lost.

Brittany Taylor in the Daria episode "Ill". Jane Lane mentions about Brittany the next day to Daria.
- Jane: It was a rare opportunity, getting to hang out with Brittany in a grunge club, Although her hair did leak onto my shoes.Daria: You're sure that wasn't her brain?Jane: No, there was too much of it.
- There are a couple background Goths (who are inevitably Ensemble Dark Horse OC Stand Ins) who seem to happily congregate within and outside their subculture.
Did a ton of cleanup since I had time. First, tropes that need to be added back once people more knowledgable can give them descriptions:
I pulled a few tropes that were simply describing the show (i.e. The '90s) and will be adding them to the description. I'm also going to go ahead and make a Crowning Moment Of Awesome page so the entire dialog between Helen and Ms. Li has somewhere to go that's not insanely cluttering the main page. Feel free to add many more C Mo A, this show rocked.
Edited by Rebochan Hide / Show RepliesI can fill in Smart Ball and Funny Aneurysm Moment, but Smart Ball may fall into YMMV territory. I'll give it a shot.
I deleted the Out-of-Character Moment paragraph. The reason I did it is because it does not make sense. Sandi isn't a monodimensional character. While her rivalry with Quinn is showcased every time they're together, it is also shown at various points that they do care for each other and it is probably because they are shown to be similar in many respects that they can be depicted both as rivals and best friends. In any case, even if you believe Sandi is just a manipulative bitch with no redeeming quality, you can always think she made that remark about the hotel guy being a stalker to mess with Quinn.
Edited by Typhon Sadom SadomCan someone please fix the page title? The typo makes it spell D Aria, and It Just Bugs Me!
Hide / Show RepliesRebochan: I just pulled a ton of shipping rage against Tom that appears to have built up over time. Seriously, guys, give it a rest. And you can't claim Executive Meddling when you already acknowledge that it was the show staff themselves that wanted to show how Daria would handle being in a relationship. Good lord, eight years off the air and still people can't get over their undying Ship-to-Ship Combat.
Jane's life is a Trauma Conga Line? Uh, other than her mother's Hands Off Parenting style, I'd say that's a HUGE stretch.
You watch me, just watch me. I'm calling- I'm calling. And one day all will know...
