I feel the line "Meta example: if a male character cracks jokes towards his female partner, it's harmless fun. If the female character does the same thing towards her male partner, then she's a heartless witch and should be punished for it. The fandom said so!" should be moved to another category. The criticism behind Lady Noir being criticized for cracking jokes in this episode isn't that she's a woman, therefore it's bad, the criticism comes from her needlessly harsh treatment of Chat Noir over his jokes, but when she gets the chance to crack some, she does so at his expense. What the line above described isn't a Meta example of warped Aesop, rather an Alternate Character Interpretation or Unintentional unsympathetic moment.
