That'd be useful, though making it would be time-consuming. I'd be willing to help out.
Anyonr here could make Shout-Out page for the entire Metal Gear series?
Personally I don't mind MGR being canon, so it's not because I have some huge grudge against it.
But whenever the debate arises as to which games are canon, it's always PO and MGR that make up the bulk of the debate (Mobile is incredibly obscure). Kojima's own statements and the statements of Konami and Platinum have been somewhat ambigious and occationally contradictory, so in order to avoid endless debates, can we please just leave it in canon limbo?
If this counts as a trope, i've no idea what it's called (some sort of Protagonist Diversion). You know how the original Star Wars films were the story of Luke Skywalker? Then three more films came along, and you realize all six films are the story of Anakin? ...well, that, just with Metal Gear it's Solid Snake and Big Boss.

Found a Youtube Channel with political stances you want to share? Hop on over to this page and add them. The following entry relating to this series is on Prison Episode:
- Metal Gear 1: Snake is thrown in a jail cell which the player can escape from within seconds simply by punching the wall. The prison escape sequences of Metal Gear Solid 1 and 3, however, were fun and memorable.
Now, bear in mind that Prison Episode is defined as a prison-centered installment of a series not otherwise about prison; I haven't played the games, but this strikes me as more along the lines of levels. In that trope's discussion page, on the other hand, battosaijoe claimed that a level should count if it makes up a significant enough portion of the gameplay, and kjnoren claimed to have looked through the video game section, removing the more obvious non-examples.
In any case, would you say it qualifies?
"The Daily Show has to be right 100% of the time; FOX News only has to be right once." - Jon StewartThe Main Page image isn't showing up, and is showing up as a red X. Someone edited it. Why is it an X now?
Hide / Show RepliesBecause their edit was some kind of screwup. They inserted the URL for editing the page inside the picture's URL somehow.
Someone should put the fanfic recs on this page instead of the Metal Gear Solid one...

I'd start considering a Timeline page for the series.
