Hey, as a long time meditator this article seems pretty negative. There are INNUMERABLE benefits to meditation. Yes meditation is linked to cult activity, yes sometime it can be an unhealthy coping mechanism, but generally the benefits of meditation far out weight the risks, and bashing the hobby of millions of people doesn't seem to fit the spirit of tvtropes. I'm also concerned at the inclusion of Yoganada's meditation on the page as the only positive example. I can tell you from personal experience that Kriya yoga is one of the riskier types of meditation, so putting up all these warnings against TM, which is just classic mantra meditation applied by unscrupulous people, then promoting something that CAN be mentally destabilizing doesn't seem to be helpful. Can I propose that a focus on discussing classic mindfulness meditation could help rather than all the superfluous info on the supposed dangers of meditation.
