I do apologize, but I would like to know who do I need to speak to in order to add a Creator Backlash bullet to this page? Because apparently Dan Aykroyd slammed the hell out of Paul Feig recently for some major inefficiency on the film's creation:

Hide / Show RepliesWould it be okay to point out on the What Could Have Been point that Harold Ramis and Bill Murray reconciled before the former's death?
Creator Breakdown: Links have been provided to substantiate the trivia entry about Paul Feig. The director of a large-budget summer tentpole release is profanely ranting and name-calling his film's detractors all over Twitter. I believe that more than qualifies as a Creator Breakdown.
Hide / Show RepliesNot as bad as what happened with Josh Trank and the Fant4stic film but close.
Considering the abuse that he and his staff have gotten, no it doesn't.
The one report close to that was the twitter abuse that Leslie went through. So unless there is a link that supports the argument the rest of the cast are being abused then this just sounds like you're trying to block any negative tropes relating to Ghostbusters. Which is pure bias
People in glass houses shouldn't throw stones, dear. You've made it quite clear in these discussion pages that you're out to get hate dumped on the movie or its staff for weeks, so let's not start accusing biases around here.
All I've been saying here was suggesting to show a link that supports your argument.I even agree that abuse has been thrown. Leslie is the only one of note. Which went over your head for some reason. The fact that you haven't even provided a link as evidence just supports my argument that there is no level ground here. Only bias in favor of the movie.
Edited by eaterofworldsThis is hardly the first time you've tried to have excessive negativity added to the page. You even argued that it should be blanked.
I'm not going tit for tat in an argument.
Possible What Could Have Been if it can be substantiated. Apparently in earlier drafts, Rowan was originally going to be "a convicted murderer who turns into a ghost after his execution is hit by a supercharged electrical storm." I guess they altered his origins to satirize the backlash against the film.

they didn't actually saterize the backlash, the film had wrapped shooting by the time the trailer hit. although cool entry, but the reasoning was probably just because it was either too dark or cut for time.
What doesn't kill me better run. There was an explanation for Flip Flopof God given in an interview. the intention of the trailer was to make sure people new that they weren't trying to erase the first movie, and were giving a nod to its existence and legacy, and was referring to 30 years ago in real life.
What doesn't kill me better run.Banned in China: Apparently the film isn't going to be released in china due to the depiction of ghosts and skeletons in visual media being against the law there. If someone has the proper permissions they might want to toss this up. I think it's a trivia trope, right?

Edited by zmanwarrior Hide / Show RepliesGood trope. Not flame bait. Good job.
What doesn't kill me better run.Box Office Bomb is based on speculation, but makes it seem like accurate info. The 70mil number is exaggerated, and the film isn't even finished with its run yet. Also Streisand Effect has no merit and nothing backing it up.
What doesn't kill me better run.Overshadowed by Controversy: It is impossible to talk about this movie without upsetting someone. And that's all we are going to say about it.
Now everyone pat me on the back and tell me how clever I am! Hide / Show RepliesThe Streisand Effect: Sony infamously took down comments on the trailer with more reasonable critiques (or comments made by female commenters) while leaving the more childish and sexist comments up to spin a narrative that only "misogynists" hated the movie.
Should Stillborn Franchise be Added to thi# page, since it was meant to start a Ghostbusters cinematic universe that will now never happen?
