This page is way too long. It needs to be alphabetized and split into folders.

Am I the only person who didn't find the final boss of Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story to be that hard? Even without the resident game breakers (Broggy Bonker for Bowser, and Magic Window for Mario & Luigi), it's incredibly easy to get rid of the Cognizant Limbs (Jump Helmet on both eyes, and Snack Basket on the legs) and rack up insane damage on the main part of the body, even if you didn't do a lot of grinding.

BOOM. Ah, frig, the fourth wall was broken AGAIN. Hide / Show Replies

It isn't that hard, but button mashing the X button to suck up the dark star is a pain in the rear. Especially if you're not that great at button mashing.

Split off section for Pokemon, Final Fantasy, Tales Series and World Of Warcraft. I axed the Kingdom Hearts section altogether, as it consisted of almost nothing but Natter.

Why'd you axe all the rest of the stuff too? There were plenty of valid entries that got deleted for no apparent reason.

Well, at the very least, someone was kind enough to restore the valid entries. =D

I know this is a subjective trope and all, but this:

  • The Salabolg in the swamp is just as bad. He hovers over water out of melee range and will routinely spawn enemies to attack you. Fortunately, he does come in range of melee attacks - when he snaps his head forward to attack you, so you need precision timing to dodge and counter. And unlike Verminator, this is near the beginning of the game, you've only got two or three attack spells and you just got your first spear ten minutes ago so unless you grind it won't be at a high-enough level to hit him from range.

Is wrong on almost every count. When he attacks, he actually stays vulnerable to melee attacks between his attack and when he submerges, giving quite a large window in which to hit him. You only get the spear "ten minutes ago" if you, like, ignore every single monster between when you get it, and a climb up and down a volcano and a trek through a swamp, meaning you're probably in a Speed Run or a Low-Level Run in which case this kind of thing should be par for the course. You also probably have 6 Call Beads in addition to whatever spell components you may have. Finally, the boss is even kind enough to make easy-to-avoid Mooks that give both experience and weaponskill in case you're close to a level up. Salabolg isn't a That One Boss, he's a Wake-Up Call Boss in that unless you're both avoiding leveling ANYTHING and completely incapable of dodging a simple attack, he will be hard, but otherwise, there is no way he is "just as bad" as a guy who is completely immune to short-range attacks, ignores half your party and throws some of the highest level magic in the game.

Subjective or not this page is so long as to be unreadable. I hacked a bunch of entries, but don't worry overmuch about doing the same yourself in the future.

See you in the discussion pages.
