On the main Sisterhooves Social page (I think) there was a fanart comic where Sweetie Belle screws up something, Rarity yells at her, so Sweetie Belle draws a picture that says I'm sorry and then Rarity sews a blanket that says I Forgive You and drapes it over Sweetie Belle. Where did that go?

There has to be a trope for this:
Sweetie Belle disowning Rarity and spending time with Applejack and Applebloom, only to spend the whole time talking about what her sister would say about various things ("Rarity would call the fashion police," "...it's a good thing Rarity isn't here," "that's the last word Rarity would use," etc.), thus revealing that she's still thinking about her.
I know I've seen this elsewhere. Where a character disowns a friend after a fight, only to go on and on about said friend.
You know what's funny? The page image looks a bit like the cover art from Age of Mythology: the Titans.

Yeah, I think from the looks of the episode, the original synopsis was right.
And now here comes the rage from the fans since a lot of the fanon stuff was knocked out, mainly Dinky being Derpy's daughter and Pinchy being Berry's daughter.

Not really. It was sisters, not parents, who were competing. I've seen a lot of people rationalize that the pony with Dinky was just serving as a surrogate sister for the competition. Fanon always finds a way.

About Rarity's accent, she may have originally been faking it as a teen, but by now she's probably been using it so long that it's turned into her natural speaking voice.

Maybe they have the accent because it's from whatever region they come from, but Sweetie grew up in Ponyville and thus talks like the other kids her own age.
Took out this justifying edit, seem well thought out though.
