Because it was troping the band members like they're fictional characters which is expressly forbidden. The Characters/ pages are for putting character tropes for fictional works, not real-life people.
This one was really bad, listing things like what schools they went to and ascribing tropes to their backgrounds and whatnot. That is very much not what we want on this wiki.

I have my doubts about whether some of the tropes in the page (some of the "member tropes", as well as any related to Shipping, especially the latter) really should remain, for similar reasons as the ones above. For example, Like an Old Married Couple lacks context, so I'm not sure if it actually applies or it's just Shipping Goggles in play.
I also have my doubts over the Shipping tropes on the YMMV page and the Ho Yay page as a whole, since
1. I'm not entirely sure about the site's stance on Real Person Fics, the place of Shipping tropes in a real person's page, and the standards for Ho Yay applied to real life.
2. While Shipping is already somewhat controversial among the fandom, some examples in the Ho Yay page are even more so, as they're not even the "flirting in concerts/interviews" kind of examples, but, say, two members being friends since high school or a member recording another in their trip together.
Already deleted Fan-Preferred Couple, because is a No Real Life Examples, Please! trope, but I'd rather ask here for other stuff before making more changes.
