I saw UNIX's staggeringly long Useful Notes article and figured, given C's historic and important role in computing, which includes but is not limited to creating some of the most popular computer games of all time, that an article about it was germane to the site.

In addition, the Python language has an article of similar complexity, which I styled this one on.

I mean, I'd argue that C merits an article more than DOS memory extenders, which is a fairly esoteric hardware topic tied to a thirty-year-old operating system (and, in fact, the DOS 4 GW article even mentions the C language).
