Just curious, am I the only one who just does not see Sae Hee as a real love interest for Shi Woon? None of their interactions seem to indicate anything beyond old friendship and mutual protectiveness. Really they don't seem terribly invested in one another. I mean Shi Woon has no qualms not seeing her for weeks at a time and when he sees her again she just sort of checks in and moves on.
Plus there's the fact that in New Waves she seems to have been put pretty firmly on the bus with everyone else who isn't an active murim.
If I'm missing something, please point it out to me. I make these observations having just re-read all of the original and New Waves so I'm fairly confident in my evaluation.
Hide / Show RepliesYep, it's even on the character page.
And there is always someone who will take it upon himself. Always. Always. Always. I have become evil, but once I, too, was good...I think she still falls in as one especially given how even when she isn't in some chapters she is can sometimes still appear on the covers and how whenever Shi Woon does disappear, she goes out of her way to try to reach or get in touch with him.
Is she a primary character, obviously no but she could be one of those normal girl love interests that gets with the character at the very end of the story when the main character retires from the life of action.
So is this series dead?
