I wouldn't be surprised if it just got pulled because it's a really awful illustration of The Plague. I mean, I agree with it, but it's completely pointless editorializing. And not at all illustrative, other than, uh, saying the word ebola.

Does a bioweapon still count as The Plague?
For example, in the Death Note film, L: Change The World the villains want to release a virus that is a cross between ebola and influenza.

Does anyone think this could become a Discredited Trope in the future? Not saying it is at the moment, since it's too early to tell. But one has to wonder if it will happen...
