Anyone else think the "franchise is furry bait" examples are becoming redundant?

A little bit. The trope itself feels kind of...ill defined? Just looking at the video game section, it feels so shotgun and like it encompasses everything from clear-cut "stock parody jokes" (i.e.: Mario does drugs) to "unpopular opinions" (i.e.: Ocarina of Time is overrated) and "fandom opinions" (i.e.: the aforementioned "furry bait", "Questioning why Spamton (etc.)" under the Deltarune section).
