I think I might have found some shoulderpads that top the current image.
They belong to the Neue Ziel
◊. They are literal shoulders of doom due to their bristling with weapons and even extra arms! Who needs legs when you've got these babies?!

Move Schlock Mercenary to discussion: explosive epaulets are cool, but not large. Surely there is a straight example in the series we can use.

Monster Hunter has some pretty good examples of this trope. G Rank Gravios armor has shoulder pads larger than the Hunter's torso for example.
