"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanThe page contains some examples of game mods (90 FPS for Touhou, The Limbo Mod for Dark Souls). Should modding even count? I think, not.
An All S-Rank Challenge is a feat on it's own (All levels on Sonic '06 on Very Hard Mode not standing). I've gotten an idea, or rather a question: Is it POSSIBLE for clearing all the levels on Sonic Heroes, ONLY with Team CHAOTIX, and OBTAINING ALL THE CHAOS EMERALDS? (Note: I've only thought that due to watching the Super Gaming Bros. play through of Sonic Heroes.)
Hide / Show RepliesNice piece! I just bought fiesta medals for our event from http://fiestamedal.net/ the medals came out beautiful, a lot of attention to details, and the staff was great to work with, very fast to respond. I'll try making one on my next project.
Just wanna point out that the Team Rocket Challenge involving stealing others' Pokemon is based on the anime version of Team Rocket, because the game Team Rocket are usually not into that.
My Deviant Art account. There might be art there. Sometimes.Popular self-imposed challenges for Zelda 2: The Adventure of Link include beating the game while keeping one specific stat at Level 1 throughout the entire game. When I was a kid, I remember doing a Level 1 Life run, and a separate Level 1 Attack run. In theory, a Level 1 Magic run is possible, but the only spell you can use in the Great Palace is the Thunder spell you need to make Thunderbird vulnerable. If you're feeling really masochistic, try keeping TWO stats at Level 1, or try a Level 1 Life run without grabbing any Heart Containers! One-Hit KO's much?
Also, in regards to Mega Man self-imposed challenges, a group of three Let's Players on You Tube have taken Roahm Mythril's "Perfect Run" challenge a step further, adding on an extra requirement of never missing a shot, along with the previous no-damage, uncharged-Buster-only rules. Each of the three L Pers has their own name for the challenge. Mysky88 calls it "The Retro Job: Case Mega Man", Shikaroxen calls it "Mega Man Overkilled," and Altima Mantoid calls it "Mega Man Mantis Style."
Shikaroxen is also doing a "Perfect Ash" challenge for Pokemon Yellow, the rules of which include: No use of money, No items except H Ms, Must only use Pokemon that Ash used in the anime, Must fight the Legendaries, including Mewtwo, and No damage.
