Somewhat after the fact, but I think so. I don't really see this as being a trope anyway...

I think it is terrible that the Literature/archy and mehitabel series of comic poetry by don marquis is not listed as an example. They are likely the trope namer.

archy was a cockroach poet who couldn t hit the shift key on Marquis s typewriter, so his creative works lack capitalization and punctuation Mehitabel was a cat, who apparently regaled archy with her past exploits among all sorts of persons.
