Hello, I'm PCD. I am a retired librarian. I grew up watching a lot of television programs and reading many books. I have also co-written fanfiction for print zines, back in the day. (My co-author and best friend passed away in April 2020.)
The cat in my avatar pic was named Gigi. Sadly, she died suddenly at home on Sept. 16, 2021. I had her sister, Gabrielle, until Nov. 29, 2021, when the vet discovered she had cancer and a bowel perforation, and I had to let them put Gabby to sleep . Both cats were adopted in 2019 from a shelter when they were about ten years old. On Dec, 27,2021, I adopted two young spayed female cats named Molly and Easton. Molly is a brown tabby who alternates between sleeping on my lap and racing from room to room. Easton is a black "housepanther" who is very shy still.
I am fond of science-fiction, fantasy, mystery, espionage stories, humor, history and biography, and documentary TV programs. My favorite animals are cats, horses, dogs, and most others. I like both "Star Trek" and "Star Wars", not sorry! My most recent fandom is "Critical Role."
Tv Tropes is a very interesting place. I'm learning a great deal. Kudos to the mods and contributors.
