This page is littered with examples that interpret 'Impossibly Cool' = 'as superlatively cool as I think everyone should know it is.' But they really aren't impossibly cut, aren't impossible to keep on the human body, and aren't as impossible to function in as the character is shown functioning.

Subjectively, there's a fine line between a Troll and someone who lives just to piss you off. Hide / Show Replies

I agree with the above sentiment. As a random example: the uniforms from the Star Trek movies are nowhere near impossibly cut. It's just a top, pants, and a belt. While it does look good, it's nowhere near improbable, much less impossible. Maybe something in the trope's description emphasizing that the trope is about clothes that are impossible or damn-near to approximate with real life cloth without things like double-sided tape, wires, and other such things.

The page also seems rife with 'Impossibly Revealing Clothes' examples.

The page quote - while being awesome - is actually an example of Impossibly Tacky Clothes. Don Cherry is famous for the horribleness of his suits.

Decided to change the page image, because the previous one was standard fare for anime, while the clothing from Jo Jos Bizarre Adventure is bizarre by any standard. Here's the old image and caption:

Somehow, those suits are not heavy as hell, and still provide full protection.

It's a good idea; 40K's filled with examples. However, I think some of the Inquisitors would demonstrate the trope better, or maybe a Farseer or something. Space marine armor doesn't really make one think "clothes". Besides, that's already the page image for Super-Soldier.
