I can't for the life of me remember the comedian's name, but I believe there was a white male comedian who first coined this phrase in the late 80's or early 90's as part of his set. The humor of this line deriving from a play against type as the comedian was rather unassuming so hearing him 'talk smack' was pretty funny.
